Sergey Troitsky is a popular Soviet and Russian musician, frontman of the band "Corrosion of metal”, the author of musical works, composer and writer. He is known to fans under the creative pseudonym "Spider". In addition to the fact that the artist has shown himself in the musical field, he is also interested in the visual arts.

Childhood and youth of Sergei Troitsky
The artist's date of birth is May 20, 1966. He was born in the very heart of Russia - Moscow. Sergey was brought up by people of intelligent professions. So, the head of the family worked as an academician, and his mother worked as a dentist.
His childhood passed on Sevastopol Avenue. Parents managed to change rooms for a cozy apartment. He recalled that the doors in the apartment were never locked. Neighbors could easily visit each other. In the courtyard there was a football field, a bunch of benches and tables where you could play board games.
At that time, nothing sensible was shown on TV, so Sergei Troitsky spent all his free time with friends on the street. He also often visited his grandmother in Nizhny Novgorod, where he learned the beauty of the local nature.
After some time, the parents moved to a more prestigious area of Moscow. Sergey changed school. In 83, he became a bird of free flight. Troitsky received a matriculation certificate, and then went to work in a local printing house. Some time later he became a member of the international edition. He dreamed of entering Moscow State University, but these plans were not destined to come true.
“I was not accepted to the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University because of ideological considerations. There was nothing left to do but plunge headlong into the music. I don't regret what happened. Soon I became the “father” of “Metal Corrosion”…”.
The creative path of Sergei Troitsky
He was inspired to make music by bands Kiss и Led Zeppelin. He overwritten the recordings of his favorite records, and soon matured in order to create his own project. Together with like-minded people, Sergei Troitsky began to rehearse at the Palace of Pioneers. He met the future members of the team at thematic parties.
The first rehearsals can hardly be called professional. Rather, the work was like mastering musical instruments. When the skills were honed, the musicians first appeared on the stage. By the way, every performance of the band was banned due to censorship.
In 1985, they really gathered a lot of spectators to please the audience with a driving concert. They did not last long on the stage - the valiant police quickly dispersed the crowd.
Debut album presentation
Then the guys became part of the Moscow rock laboratory. At the end of the 80s of the last century, the musicians started recording a LP. True, fans enjoyed the sound of the tracks of the collection only in 1991. Metal Corrosion's entry into the heavy music scene was excellent.
At the beginning of the 90s, the peak of the group's popularity came. Not all Soviet youth were ready to accept what the musicians did on stage. Artists dressed up in monster costumes created a real mess on stage. The fact that naked girls danced on the stage added fuel to the fire.
The composition of the group was constantly changing. Journalists spread rumors that it was difficult to work with Sergei Troitsky. Various words of the former musicians of the group about changing jobs, especially about the clash of interests between Spider and Borov, resulted in a ban on the performance of the band's musical works for the latter.
But, this is not the most serious trial. Then came the accusations of extremism. The group's work was eliminated from most music venues. Troitsky stopped receiving money from the sale of long plays. But further - more. Troitsky goes to jail. True, the prisoner was quickly released.

The first wife of the artist was a girl named Zhanna. In this union, the couple had a daughter, who was named Catherine. The birth of a daughter did not save the spouses from divorce. Zhanna could not come to terms with her husband's lifestyle. She suspected him of cheating. She was fundamentally not satisfied with the presence of naked girls on stage.
Sergei Troitsky did not go for long in the status of a bachelor. Soon he married a second time. Irina (the second wife of the Spider) also gave birth to his daughter. They divorced in 2017.

In 2017, the former musician of the Epidemia group and the vocalist of Laptev's Epidemia A. Laptev reunited the so-called "golden line-up" of the Metal Corrosion band.
In 2018, the artist presented a new LP to fans. A year later, together with Alena Sviridova, the musician performed a cover version of the hit of the Agatha Christie group.

In 2021, the Hard Rock Corporation and the MEAT STOCKS RECORDS label prepared a re-release of the Cannibal record.
