As he later said, it was thanks to the brutality of the war that took the lives of all his friends that he managed to become an individual, develop a sense of purpose and believe in God.

Qamar had to become an adult very early. At the age of 11, the guy fled from Beirut to the capital of France. For several months he worked as a loader. His shift lasted 16-18 hours.

But there was no other way out, in order to have a means of subsistence, one must accept the conditions of a harsh life. Soon he managed to earn money for a ticket to Montreal, where he met with his family, who moved there for permanent residence.

The beginning of the creative path of K-Maro

Cyril, along with his best friend Adila, gravitated toward music from an early age. When the guys were 13 years old, they created the first musical duet Les Messagers du son. The first performances of the group took place in Quebec, and from the first performance they liked the talented guys.

After some time, several hits even began to be played on local radio, which allowed the guys to earn some money and create 2 music albums: Les Messagers du Sonin and Il Faudrait Leur Dire, which were released in 1997 and 1999. respectively.

Then in Canada, the group won several awards. For example, one of their tracks was recognized as the best in the country, despite a very successful career, the musical group did not last long and broke up in 2001.

But Cyril did not lose his head and immediately after that he decided to go on a solo "swimming". Soon, the people of Montreal called him "The Master of Live Performances", and he himself decided to take on the pseudonym K-Maro for performances. It was here that he overtook the main share of success.

Career

The debut track Symphonie Pour Un Dingue was released in 2002, but, unfortunately, it did not enjoy great popularity, like the two subsequent songs. In the same year, the artist tried to rectify the situation and released a solo album, but even then he failed.

K-Maro did not give up and released several more albums. One of them brought him real success. This took place in 2004. The album La Good Life was sold in France with a circulation of about 300 thousand copies. And the Germans, Belgians, Finns and French awarded his record "gold status".

Inspired by such circumstances, the singer released several more records, with tracks that became popular all over the world: Femme Like U, Gangsta Party, Let's Go. But the solo "swimming" of Cyril did not last long. He decided to retire from music. The rapper released his last album in the spring of 2010.
