Kar-Man is the first musical group that worked in the exotic pop genre. What does this direction the soloists of the group came up with on their own.
Bogdan Titomir and Sergey Lemokh climbed to the top of the musical Olympus in early 1990. Since that time, they have secured the status of world stars.
The composition of the musical group
Bogdan Titomir and Sergey Lemokha united in a group thanks to the advice of Arkady Ukupnik. Arkady Ukupnik not only united the guys, but also became the first producer of the Kar-Man group. The musicians already had experience of working on the big stage.
Prior to that, they worked with Dmitry Malikov and Vladimir Maltsev: Titomir - bass player, Lemokh played keyboards. But since the guys were in the background, their faces were not known in wide circles of music lovers.
Kar-Man officially formed in 1990. Young and attractive soloists conquered young people with bold and danceable musical compositions. In a short period of time, the guys were able to gather their first fans.
Initially, the musical group was called the Exotic Pop Duo, but then the guys thought that this was not a very creative name. Plus, it was too long. Without thinking twice, Sergey and Bogdan decided that now their duet would be called Kar-Man.
For the past two years, Kar-Man has been gathering stadiums of his avid fans. The musical compositions of the Russian duet occupied the first lines of the music charts. The guys themselves admitted to journalists that their songs are practically meaningless, but they have accumulated an incredibly powerful energy that charges listeners with positive.
Later, Kar-Man begins to perform not only in the United States of America, but also abroad. The musical group has won many awards, including: "Opening" and "Group of the Year", "Ovation", "Hit of the Year", "Star Rain".
The composition of the group changed over time. There was a period when the incendiary Cuban Mario Francisco Diaz was the soloist of the musical group, the dark-skinned actress Diana Rubanova, Marina Kabaskova and Sergey Kolkov performed on backing vocals.
Such a colorful composition of the group only increased interest in the work of the Kar-Man group.
When the musical group reached the peak of popularity, the sex symbol Bogdan Titomir left the group. According to authoritative music critics, the split in the musical group occurred due to the fact that each of the soloists was a strong personality, and pulled the blanket over himself.
After leaving Kar-Man, Bogdan Titomir begins to actively promote himself as a solo artist.

The debut album of the musical group was called "Around the World". The disc includes the group's most popular compositions - London, Good Bye, Delhi, My Girl from America.
Sergey has already presented the second disc "Carmania" alone, since Bogdan Titomir left the group. Lemokh has somewhat updated Kar-Man's repertoire. Now, some musical compositions began to sound a little different. Despite the departure of Titomir, the Kar-Man group was still a huge success.
The top compositions of the second disc were the following tracks: "Philippine Witch", "San Francisco", "Caribbean Girl", "Bombay Boogie". Kar-Man shoots video clips for several tracks.
In the online communities of the musical group, the topic of the next Kar-Man album, Diesel Fog, was sharply discussed. Half of the group's fans claim that the release of the third disc falls on 1993. While the rest of the army of fans claims that the records were published by Soyuz and removed from sale due to copyright problems.
But, a small number of Diesel Fog albums still managed to fall into the hands of Kar-Man fans. And now, this album can be sold for a good amount of money. Collectors are hunting for this copy of the record.
Later, the third album was recorded at the Gala studio, but already under the name Russian Massive Sound Aggression (RMZA). In the third album, the soloists collected musical compositions in the style of classic techno.
In 1994, the soloists of the group delight their fans with the presentation of the live album "Live". The live album includes the already beloved tracks of the Kar-Man group, as well as new musical compositions - "Chao, Bambino!" and Angel of Love.
For about 2 years, practically nothing was heard about the Russian musical group. They did not please the fans with new songs and did not release fresh videos. Rumors began to circulate in the music world that Kar-Man had ceased to exist.
Later it turned out that the musical group signed a contract with a German recording studio. As a result of signing the contract, Kar-Man soloists will present the English-language album "This is Car-Man".
In 1995, the musical group presented the long-awaited album "Your Sexual Thing". This album was dominated by lyric and dance songs. "Southern Shaolin" is accompanied by a vivid video clip.
After the release of the album “Your Sexy Thing”, the guys spend a couple of years on tour. In 1998, Kar-Man presented the disc "King of the Disc", which was released in three versions. The guys filmed a video clip for the title song.
In 2001, Kar-Man organizes a show tour around the country. The guys presented to their fans the program "Kar-Man - 10 years". Thus, they supported the release of the series of discs "Legends of the Russian Disc", and also celebrated the anniversary of the group. In 2001, Kar-Man turned 10 years old.
After Kar-Man played a concert program, rumors about them subsided. There were rumors that the group broke up. However, Sergey answered reporters: "Just because you don't see Kar-Man on TV doesn't mean we don't make music anymore." In the same interview, the singer said that Kar-Man is currently performing at the Slava cultural center.
In 2002, the musical group returned to the stage again. Together with the production center Music Hammer, they announced the start of work on a kind of tribute to the band's songs. But for 2019, it is still unknown how the work on the “Car-Mania: AlterNative edition” project ended.
Kar-Man group now
The songs of the musical group Kar-Man are very popular among modern youth. Rumors about the soloist of the group do not subside, but he only adds fuel to the fire.
Lemokh is still promoting Kar-Man. And another creative pseudonym “stuck” to Sergey - forever young and energetic.
Kar-Man continues to collaborate with musicians. The result of such cooperation was the musical compositions "You you you" and "Bullet". The tracks were warmly received by the fans.
Kar-Man has an official website. And judging by it, in 2019 Kar-Man earns his “life” by holding concerts and performing at celebrations and corporate events. Lemokh does not comment on the release date of the new album.
