The musical group "Commissioner" declared itself in the early 1990s. Literally in a year, the musicians managed to get their audience of fans, even to receive the prestigious Ovation Award.
Basically, the group's repertoire is musical compositions about love, loneliness, relationships. There are works in which the musicians frankly challenged the fairer sex, calling them not very flattering words.
The history of the creation and composition of the Commissioner group
In the 1990s, another star lit up in the music world - the Commissar group. The soloists of the new team knew for sure that success awaited them. The secret of their confidence is simple - the group has gathered real professionals in their field.
The musical group "Commissioner" started with Valery Sokolov. It was Sokolov who throughout the whole time was engaged in writing texts and producing a musical group. In the world of show business, Valery is a significant person and a person with a capital letter.
In addition, the talented Leonid Velichkovsky, who already had experience on stage, joined the cast. He was once a member of the Technology group.
Vadim Volodin is another protagonist of the Kommissar group. Vadim served as an arranger and greatly simplified the release of the first disc. And the list was completed by Alexei Shchukin - frontman, ex-DJ and voice of the Russian group.
Regarding the question of the history of the emergence of the "name" of the group, then there is confusion, there is no exact answer.
Some said that the soloists were initially sure that they would go far, so they chose such a strong position. Others said that the team was named after the "profession" of the famous fighter for justice, Corrado Cattani.
Another surprising fact is that by releasing the debut track “You Will Leave” into the music world, the soloists of the group secured a place for themselves at various music festivals and programs. Later, this track became the hallmark of the Komissar group.
Music critics noted: “The Commissar team is an individual and absolutely “living” organism. Their tracks are filled with life and energy. The delivery of the vocalist is especially good, which attracts attention from the first seconds of the song.”
Interestingly, from the first line-up for 2020, only a few people are listed as “acting” soloists.
The composition has changed. Later, Alexey shared with reporters what is the reason for the fact that the soloists did not stay long inside the team.
Some soloists of the Kommissar group left due to strict contract conditions, while others left the group because they were unable to overcome the busy tour schedule.
Since 2010, the group has remained unchanged: Sergey, who took the place of the keyboardist, and guitarist Kinstler. Also Anton Sergeev, who graduated from MADI, and vocalist Alexei Schukin with a MATI diploma.
Creative way and music of the Kommissar group
In 1991, the new musical group presented their debut album, which received the loud title "Our time has come." But the record hit the broad masses only in 1994.
The time for the group's soloists has indeed come, because the tracks included in the album made an unforgettable impression on music lovers.
This collection, which included only 7 tracks, in addition to the super-single "You will leave", also included the track "Your kiss is like a crime", which became a real hit.
The debut of the guys was successful. The Kommissar group traveled all over the country with their concerts. Fans snapped up tickets and sang their favorite songs along with their idols.
The stunning success of the team was married to a creative crisis. The musicians did not understand why they were no longer invited to festivals and programs.
Ignoring the group "Commissioner" led to the fact that the number of fans also began to decrease.
The decision on how to proceed with Shchukin and Co. took a very long time. The guys could not "shoot". Their songs were far behind.
However, the ice broke when the group performed the musical composition "Badla". The track preceded the single "Fleabag" and the album of the same name, which was presented in 1998.
In the early 2000s, the discography of the Komissar band was replenished with two more albums. From a commercial point of view, the records can not be called super profitable. But fans appreciated the efforts of the musicians.
In the same period of time, the Komissar group and director Fyodor Bondarchuk presented a vivid video clip. In addition, the group signed a contract with a prestigious recording studio.
The musicians worked hard to regain the love of the fans. Fate took pity on the group and the popularity of the musical group began to increase.
Soon, the musicians no longer needed the services of the Russian label ARS. Fans of the Komissar group sang their favorite tracks that they had memorized: “The Snow Queen”, “I declare war on you” and “The Foggy”.
Only in 2013 a new album of the group "Kings" appeared. Such a long interval between the records was due to the fact that each of the participants was busy with personal creative affairs.
Journalists asked the soloists of the Komissar group many questions about the fact that in their songs they humiliate women's dignity. Alexey Arnoldovich once answered:
“The songs of the Commissar are not a way to humiliate or offend the fairer sex. There is some truth in our work. I think the male half of the fans will agree with this.
Not all girls are the keepers of home comfort. But at the same time, men also love such women. I often hear approval from the weaker sex regarding the tracks of “Commissar”.
Musical group Kommissar today
It may seem to many that the Kommissar group has suspended its work. However, this is not the case. At the moment, the group rarely releases albums and new tracks. But with their concerts they increased the interest of music lovers and old fans. The poster of performances is posted on the official website of the band.
The retro tour in 2019 started from the Orthodox Christmas in Smolensk, capturing the capital of the Russian Federation - Moscow, Ufa, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg. The Komissar group did not go on stage alone, but together with their colleagues on the stage - the bands of the early and mid-1990s.
Team leader Alexei Shchukin recently got his own Instagram. Photos from concerts often appear on the artist's social network. It is known that Alexey is married. He is raising a daughter.
At one of the press conferences, Alexei was asked about the release of a new album. He replied that for the time being the soloists of the Kommissar group were not going to record a record.
Perhaps a collection of the most popular hits in a new arrangement will be released. But Shchukin did not say anything about the approximate release date.
