No Cosmonauts is a Russian band whose musicians work in the rock and pop genres. Until recently, they remained in the shadow of popularity. A trio of musicians from Penza said about themselves like this: "We are a cheap version of "Vulgar Molly" for students." Today, they have several successful LPs and the attention of a multi-million army of fans on their account.
History of creation and composition of the group
Each of the three participants has their own version of the creation of a musical project. It only coincides that the team was formed in 2016 on the territory of Penza (Russia).
In 2020, Gleb Grishakin said that, together with German Kolotilin, he got a job with Nikolai Agrafonov as a personal bodyguard. He unexpectedly asked to play something to dispel boredom. The guys complied with the request of the "master". He liked what he heard. The acquaintance of the guys grew into a desire to create in one team.
And, if it’s completely official, then the team was formed on November 16, 2016. Grishakin has been drawn to music and sports since childhood, but more to the latter. He played football all day long. Love for music came a little later. The guy grew up as an incredibly versatile child, for which, of course, a deep bow to his parents, who took him to different sections.
In 2012, together with Andrei Lazarev, he recorded the single "He, She". Moreover, the guy performed the composition on the stage of his native university. Thus, Grishakin's creative career starts in 2012.
Agrafonov, was educated at the College of Architecture and Construction. He studied well at an educational institution, and in his free time, he composed and recorded music. In 2018, during the summer holidays, he worked at the Sosnovy Bor children's camp. Agrafonov stood behind the DJ console, entertaining the younger generation with cool tracks.
Kolotilin - was brought up in an incomplete family. He does not willingly comment on this part of the biography, so there is no information about his childhood years. One thing is certain - the young man was a big fan of music.
Agrafonov is responsible for the vocals and the sound of the guitar in the band, Grishakin is responsible for the drums and cajon, and Kolotilin is responsible for the bass guitar. By the way, creative assistants help to promote the team. The guys have repeatedly admitted that without support it would be difficult for them to win the attention of music lovers.
The creative path of the group "Cosmonauts no"
After uniting guys who are not indifferent to music, they began to think about how to “title” the brainchild. They thought for a long time, but then decided to opt for such a creative name. In one of the interviews, the artists said that they named the group that way, because mom told Kolotilin that dad was not with them, because he was an astronaut. "Small has matured" and understood - "there are no astronauts."
A year after the creation of the group, the guys pleased the fans with the release of their debut LP. The album was titled "10 Reasons Why". The tracks that were included in the collection were recorded in the genre of rap and emo rock. By the way, the release of the debut album was preceded by the presentation of Nikolai's solo LP. The collection was called "Unknown".
In 2018, the musicians presented the track "Pink Dream". In the same year, the premiere of the collection "Ward No. 7" took place. A year later, the discography was enriched with the album "Playlist for a fight with your mother." The last collection - at times multiplied the popularity of musicians. They began to talk about them as promising musicians.
Throughout their creative career, they delighted the "fans" with excellent productivity. 2020 is no exception. This year the premiere of the album "1 + 1 = 11" took place.
"There are no astronauts": our days
In 2021, the guys presented the track “Just Like Me” (with the participation of “Pikchi!”). Around the same period of time, the premiere of the composition "To the Moon" (with the participation of HELLA KIDZ) took place. The efforts of the artists did not end there. Their repertoire was replenished with solo compositions "In the Blue" and with "Daddy's Olympos".
Autumn began with incredible surprises. The musicians released three mini-discs: “I don’t kiss you, bad night for you”, “Shooting of butterflies in the abdomen” and “Fool, stars in the sky”.
In October, they went on a tour of the Russian Federation. In the same period of time, the musicians "lit up" in the show "Evening Urgant".
