Crack, or Krec is a rap group from St. Petersburg. The team got its name by abbreviating Kitchen Records (Kitchen Record). It is interesting that the musical group took its beginning from the kitchen. The soloists of the group recorded the first tracks surrounded by a refrigerator, gas stove and tea.

The birthday of the musical group Crack falls on 2001. The group was founded by Artem Brovkov (MC Fuze) and Marat Sergeev, previously the guys were part of the Nevsky Bit team. The first wrote very high-quality texts, the second worked on music. It is interesting that at that time the Crack group was one of the most popular St. Petersburg bands that created rap in the musical direction.
In this composition, the guys released their debut disc, which was called "Invasion". The title of the album characterizes the "entry" of the musical group into the rap industry. It is worth noting that the debut disc received laudatory reviews not only from rap fans, but also from music critics.
In 2003, the soloists of Crack met Alexei Kosov, who is known to listeners as the performer Assai. The band later collaborated with Smokey Mo and UmBriaco.
There were more members of the team. And it was these guys who became part of the new wave of Russian rap. They skillfully served the audience with music. Crack fans were scattered far beyond the borders of the Russian Federation.
In 2009, Assai decided to leave the musical group Crack, and came to grips with his solo career. Three years later, Marat Sergeev also left the group. And in fact, the Crack group is controlled only by the non-replaceable leader Fuze.
Fuse realizes that he can't pull the Crack group on his own. Therefore, in the same 2013, Denis Kharlashin and vocalist Lyubov Vladimirova joined him. In this composition, Crack goes on a planned tour.
In 2019, Crack is just one person. Some fans of the musical group say that if Fuze is the only member of the group, then most likely this is no longer a musical group, but a "play of one actor." But the rapper says "Krec" is the name he's been carrying since the beginning and he's not going to change it. The popularity of the musical group was brought by the second album, which was released in 2004. The record "No Magic" becomes the best rap album of the year according to the vote of hip-hop ru users. For Fuze, this came as a surprise, since the first album did not cause much enthusiasm.
Music critics noted that Crack "makes" quality rap. The second disc won over music lovers. Now the musical group had great support, in the form of an army of fans. Fans of creativity noted that Crack's rap is very individual. Lyrics and romanticism are felt in the songs, but at the same time, the tracks are not without brutality.
In 2006, the guys will present the disc "On the River". The third album is even more lyrical. The song "Tenderness" becomes the soundtrack to the film "Piter FM". In the same 2006, a video clip for the presented musical composition was released.
This disc includes very sad and even depressing songs. But many fans of the group's work believe that 2006 was a "star time" for Crack.
Crack soloists, being part of the team, also record solo albums. So, Assai released the disc “Other Shores” in 2005, “Fatalist” in 2008, Fuze recorded “Meloman” in 2007. Critics say that solo, rappers "sound" completely different than in the Crack group.
After the departure of Assai in 2009, a joint album was recorded with Check - "Peter-Moscow". After recording this record, the guys decided to go on a big tour. According to critics, this was one of the largest tours of the Crack group.
Later, the guys presented the album "Shards". The soloists of the group did not deny that this is the most depressing record in the history of Crack. Rappers such as Basta, Ilya Kireev, Chek and IstSam took part in the recording of this album. The top song of the album was the track "Eli breathing".
We have to admit that Crack is a very productive band. This is evidenced by the speed with which the guys release their albums. In 2012, the soloists of the group continue their gloomy theme and release the album Silently Simpler.
Album "Air of Freedom"
In the same 2012, the soloists of the musical group decided to publish those works that had been “collecting dust” for a long time idle. In the disc they collected musical compositions written in the period 2001-2006. The album was called "Air of Freedom".
This record also included lyrical compositions, although there were a couple of experimental tracks that are very different from the style of Crack. The usual bits of Marat in this disc were replaced by the sounds of an acoustic guitar.
A little lull and in 2016 the album "FRVTR 812" was released. This is the case when the album is completely different from previous works. The songs that are collected in the disc are interconnected. The presented album contains "stories" about the fictional character Anton.
In 2017, the album "Obelisk" is released. And since there was only one soloist in Crack - Fuse, many began to say that this was a solo album. But Fuze himself said that he would continue to perform under the creative name of the group - Crack. In the same year, Fuze recorded a video clip for the top track of the album - "Streley".

In the winter of 2017, Crack and Lena Temnikova release the musical composition "Sing with me". For fans, this track has become a huge gift. The duet merged so harmoniously that music lovers asked the singers for only one thing - another joint work.
2017 was also marked by the fact that Fuse applied for participation in the major project "Voice of the Streets". The judges of the project were Vasily Vakulenko, known in wide circles as Basta, and the Restaurateur. Fuze himself noted that he applied for participation only because he wanted to prove that the old school of rap makes better music, and the "old" rappers have not disappeared anywhere.
Fuze's participation in the project was a big surprise for many. Someone said that the good old Crack will not pull against the new school of rap. But, the old men, on the contrary, supported the rapper. Crack himself noted that he perfectly understands what he is getting into, so he does not need extra comments. The rapper noted that he was used to getting out of his "comfort zone".
At the presented musical project, Crack performed the musical composition “In a Circle” to the beat of Vasily Vakulenko. A little later, a studio version of this track was released, as Fuse himself announced on his Instagram page.
Crack does not change its traditions. As before, Crack is distinguished by its productivity. In 2019, the performer will present a disc with the original title "Comics". The new disc is based on stories from the everyday life of the rapper, who has learned to turn life into a walk, and any opportunity to walk into an adventure.
2022 started with good news. Krec presented an incredibly cool longplay (end of January), which was called "Melange". 12 new tracks without the participation of other guests - warmly welcomed by fans and the rap party.
