The history of the creation and composition of the LASCALA group
Talented Maxim Galstyan stands at the origins of the team. A year before the founding of LASKAL, he thought about creating his own project. During this period of time, he was listed in the IFK group
Soon Max met Leroy Skrypnik. She turned out to be a great drummer. The acquaintance grew into the fact that Valeria joined the newly-created LASKALA team. Then the composition was replenished by Anya Green.
After some time, Pyotr Ezdakov and bassist Georgy Kuznetsov joined the group. "LASKALA" was officially formed at the end of February 2012.
It took about six months to rehearse. The boys studied each other. LASCALA did not have the funds to rent a professional recording studio. There was also no support from the producers. By the way, there were few people who wanted to promote the project.
The guys had no choice but to record their debut LP at home. After the rockers achieved some success, representatives of the recording studio Way Out Music drew attention to them.
Cooperation with the company, firstly, helped to increase popularity, and secondly, to improve the quality of music. Several years will pass and the musicians will become regular participants in prestigious festivals. However, in 2016 came the so-called creative crisis. For some time, the musicians disappeared from the view of "fans".
It turned out that the mood within the team is not so peaceful. Soon the fans learned that Lera Skripnik decided to leave the project. Sergey Snarskoy came to her place, who remained in the team and now, along with Anya Green, Evgeny Shramkov and Pyotr Ezdakov, performs on stage.
The creative path of the LASKALA group
In 2013, the musicians released their debut LP. The presentation of the full-length album was preceded by the release of a mini-disc, a single and a video, which were practically ignored by music lovers. Rocker Lusine Gevorkyan supported the guys in their endeavors. The musicians even performed at the warm-up of her team.
Musicians use every opportunity to tell the public about their project. They take part in radio broadcasts, attend festivals, music competitions. Also "LASKALA" is engaged in charity.
In 2014, they performed at the sites of the popular festivals "Invasion", "Air", "Dobrofest". Gradually, the army of fans of the rock band's creativity grew and multiplied.
On the wave of popularity, the guys will present their second full-length longplay. He received the name "Machete". In support of the album, they go on tour. The group's tracks are heard on the waves of Nashe Radio and even fall into the nomination of the Chart Dozen.
This period of time is marked by traveling around the country and not only. The musicians really toured a lot, and most importantly, they increased the number of "fans" in different parts of the world.
In 2018, the discography of "LASKALA" was replenished with another disc. We are talking about the collection Patagonia. Music critics noted the improvement in the sound of the tracks. The team has really reached a new level.
LASCALA: our days
In 2019, the group's fourth studio album was recorded at Soyuz Music. The record was called Agonia. In support of the LP, the guys went on a tour around the country.
The musicians keep in touch with fans through social networks. New clips, tracks, albums, announcements of performances appear on the official pages of "LASKAL". In 2020, rockers performed with the program "More than acoustics" at prestigious concert venues in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
2020 left its mark on the artists of "LASKALA". Most of the concerts this year the musicians of the group had to cancel. Despite this, with the support of the Muztorg chain of stores, the guys talked with fans online on the topic “We create music without leaving home.”
At the end of April, they presented the cover of the new studio album. The record was called "EL SALVADOR". The album was released in the summer of the same 2020. The collection includes the most popular tracks of the rock band in a completely new arrangement. The track "Revenge" entered the top 100 according to Nashe Radio.
On September 5, 2020, they were finally able to get out of self-isolation to present their new album to fans. Tickets for the El Salvador presentation were all sold out. The band's performances were held in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In June 2021, the team presented their new video for the track “Still Burning”. The musicians announced the resulting clip as the largest in its history. In the video, the vocalist of the team sings against the backdrop of the city at night, and also tries to escape from the abuser's encroachments.
