Lera Masskva is a popular Russian singer. The performer received recognition from music lovers after performing the tracks “SMS Love” and “Doves”.
Thanks to the signing of a contract with Semyon Slepakov, Masskva's songs “We are with you” and “7th floor” were heard in the popular youth series “Univer”.
The childhood and youth of the singer
Lera Masskva, aka Valeria Gureeva (real name of the star), was born on January 28, 1988 in Novy Urengoy. The fact that a star is growing up in the family became clear almost from the cradle.
Firstly, Lera began to sing at the age of 6 and at the same time began to attend a local music school. Secondly, at the age of 12 she began to write poetry. And thirdly, in her youth she composed her first song.

But after graduating from school, Gureev was disappointed - in his native Novy Urengoy, alas, you can’t build a singer’s career.
Lera moved to Moscow. Upon arrival in the capital, she went to one of the production centers. The naive girl saw the company's advertisement on TV. Upon arrival at the center, Lera quickly realized that she was dealing with typical scammers.
Meanwhile, she needed something to eat and somewhere to live. Valeria got a job in a karaoke bar. Combining business with pleasure, she found a producer in this institution. Igor Markov himself drew attention to Leroux. The girl pulled out a "ticket" to a happy life.
Igor "softly" hinted that Valeria would not go far with the name Gureev. In 2003, the singer not only “tried on” the creative pseudonym Masskva, but also changed her last name in her passport.

“Almost all of my songs are autobiographical. Inspiration comes to me in a variety of places, and exactly where I do not expect it. I am accompanied by two things: a notebook and a pen. Previously, I often wrote in public transport, cafes and parks ... ".
Creative way and music of Lera Masskva
The first performance of the singer impressed the audience. This event happened in 2005 in the popular metropolitan club "B2". The presented place is considered "evil". At one time, such world stars as Rammstein, Nina Hagen and Lydia Lunch performed at the club.
This was followed by a performance at the Megahouse site. A striking event in Masskva's biography was participation in the Five Stars project. The show was broadcast by such TV channels as Channel One, Russia and MTV.
Lera's participation in the show "Five Stars" was not without shocking. Then Masskwa did not yet have a “foundation”, and she also could not boast of having an army of fans. Standing on stage and performing the track "Medveditsa", the rising star walked with a confident gait to the author of the song, Ilya Lagutenko.
17-year-old Lera approached Lagutenok, holding a pretty cardboard box in her hands. Opening the surprise, she took out chamomile family underpants. Masskva explained her act as follows: “I just wanted to express my gratitude to Lagutenko for the opportunity to perform his musical composition ...”.
Preparation and release of the first album
In 2005, the discography of the young performer was replenished with the first collection "Masskva". For several weeks, the tracks from the collection (“7th floor”, “Paris”, “Well, finally”, “Irreversible”) were played in rotation only on the top radio stations of the country (“Russian Radio” and Radio “Europe Plus”).
Concerts helped consolidate the success. In 2005, Lera became one of the most sought-after young performers in Russia. Fans "teared" Masskva to pieces. Everyone wanted to see the singer in their city.
The year 2007 was not without novelties. The singer's discography was replenished with the second studio album "Different". Soon, Lera presented a video clip for the track "SMS Love", which, a week after the premiere, already headed the MTV "SMS Chart".
Another hit of the singer deserves attention - a video clip for the track "7th Floor". He was in rotation after being shown on the MTV show "Starting Charge".
The fate of the musical composition was decided by the listeners. The audience cast their votes for Masskva, and thus determined her victory in the first season of "Starting Charge". In the wake of popularity, Lera released clips: "Handsets" and "Well, finally."
In 2009, Lera said that from now on she will be engaged in the "promotion" of her name on her own. Valeria terminated the contract with the production center. After another 5 years, Masskva released video clips for the songs: "Shard", "Yalta" and "Forever" ("New Year").
Personal life of Lera Masskva
The personal life of the singer is closed from prying eyes. But it is clear that Valeria carefully chooses men for herself and is not ready to go down the aisle with the first person she meets.
Lera is married to Pavel Evlakhov. In 2010, the couple had a son, who was given a beautiful name - Plato. In her interview, the star mentioned that she was very afraid of childbirth, and her son would be born in a prestigious American clinic.
A celebrity rarely appears at social events. She admits that “family gatherings” are much closer to her in spirit. The best rest for the singer is watching American TV shows.
