You can't run away from talent
The future singer, who conquers the world with sincere and energetic pop-rock hits, was born in Quebec. Since childhood, she fell in love with the sounds of music, as her father professionally studied it. And little Marie-Me, not having time to grow up, became interested in the piano, studying at home.

Perhaps it was this circumstance that played a decisive role - the singer fell in love with France.
She later toured many countries, but her favorite city was Paris. Only a small homeland occupied even more space in my heart. Performances in the French concert hall "Olympia" became the pinnacle of the singer's success. And in difficult times, she recalled how the hall raged in applause, giving them to a star from Canada.
The second album Dangereuse Attraction already enjoyed even greater success in France than in Quebec. The singer did not hide the fact that the album turned out to be very personal and heartfelt. Several tracks immediately hit the charts in France. Released in 2009, the disc Version 3.0 elevated Marie-Me to the top of the musical Olympus.
Sales exceeded, and the single C'est Moi was at the top of the charts for several weeks. The online presentation of the album gathered more than 6 thousand viewers from all over the world. Music critics recognized Version 3.0 as the singer's best record. It later entered the public domain and was included in the Golden Collection of Canadian Music.
Marie-Mai: From The Smurfs to the Olympics
The incredible success of Mari-Me contributed to the increase in her demand. The singer repeatedly became a participant in concerts and shows. In 2010, at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Marie-Mae sang at the closing ceremony.
And already in 2011, she became a favorite of children. Smurfette spoke in her voice in full-length cartoons about the charming Smurfs. In some ways, the singer is similar to her heroine. By the release of the fourth Miroir album, Marie-Me was already the most famous contemporary singer from Canada. And love for her in France opened up new horizons. In 2012, the pop rock star took part in a tribute to Jean-Jacques Goldman. Together with Baptiste Giabiconi, Marie-Me performed Goldman's hit La-bas. Many critics opined that the popular singer-songwriter's song was given new life.
After such achievements, the singer's records were sold out instantly. And the fourth album in a month reached sales of 40 thousand copies, receiving a "gold" certificate. The tour in support of the new record included 100 concerts in several European countries. Only in Quebec, more than 80 thousand spectators came to the performance of Marie-Me.
These tours formed the basis of a musical film version broadcast in 50 theaters in Quebec. And the DVDs from the show have sold over 30 copies.
Experience transfer time
Marie-Mai's discography includes 6 full length albums. Five of them were gold and platinum, achieving "gold" sales certifications. The singer was repeatedly recognized as the "Best Performer of the Year" as part of the Canadian Félix Award.
