The team gained "fans" in the 1990s. Today, the group remains in demand, even after a long break. Concerts of the group are expected by listeners all over the planet.

Musical career of Masterboy

The musicians wrote the song Dance to the Beat in the first months after the formation of the group. The track had minor rap inserts, as a result of which they had to invite David Utterberry and Mandy Lee as a soloist.

As a result, the composition took 26th position in the German national chart. Such success inspired the group to record the next single, but it was no longer so successful.

Despite the "failure", the group attracted the attention of several studios. Masterboy signed an agreement with the Polydor label, thanks to which the first album of the Masterboy Family was released.

Participants began to be invited to various events. However, Tommy and Enrico were unhappy with the way the song sounded, so they kept looking for their direction.

In 1993 Masterboy released their second album, Feeling Alright. Here, the voice of Trixie Delgado sounded for the first time in the songs. Subsequently, the single I Got To It Up was released, which became the starting point on the path to worldwide fame.

The composition entered the charts in several countries, and the video clip, filmed in the capital of Great Britain, was broadcast on MTV. This song only made it to the third album, Different Dreams, which peaked at number 19 on the national chart. One of the singles received a "gold" certificate and became one of the major hits on European dance floors.

To support the next record, the team went on a tour of France and Brazil. The team has become very successful. Then came the recording of the song Generation of Love, which became the basis for a new studio album with the same name. As a result, two tracks from it were able to get to the leading positions of the Finnish national chart.

Between the release of albums, the group continued to write singles. Hit Land of Dreaming took 12th position in one of the American ratings. The Masterboy group opened their own studios in Germany and Italy, and also went on a South American tour.

Charity group Masterboy

In parallel with this, the musicians paid considerable attention to charity. Some of the proceeds from the sales of the discs were allocated to support the fight against AIDS. Despite the incredible success, Trixie Delgado decided to leave the group.

As a replacement, Linda Rocco was invited, who took part in the recording of the song Mister Feeling, which was loved by the "fans". As a result, the track took 12th position in the German rankings.

With concerts around the world

In mid-1996, the group came to Russia with a concert. At the same time, the release of the disc Colors was planned, accompanied by a grandiose tour of Asia. For the success achieved, the Masterboy group was awarded a prestigious prize.

The group regularly received invitations to perform at various shows and festivals. Songs continued to get into the European ratings. At the same time, the musicians continued to experiment with styles, but eventually took a break.

The return took place only in 1999. Then the new soloist Annabelle Kay joined them, replacing Linda Rocco. The fans loved it and their new work was highly appreciated.

Two years after her debut, Annabelle left the band. Trixie Delgado took her place, but the return did not positively affect the work of the team. As a result, the Masterboy group found itself in a deep crisis.

Only in 2013 did the team return to the stage. After 5 years, the group released a new song Are You Ready. In 2019, the Masterboy group again came to Russia with a concert. First, the team performed in St. Petersburg, and a few months later appeared on one of the Moscow stages.

At the moment, the musicians continue to work on new compositions and travel around the world with concerts. Fans of the group's work can find out the latest news from their pages on social networks.

Despite the long break, the Masterboy group was able to remember the "fans" for a long time. That is why the team continues to collect full halls, despite the break, lasting 12 years. Most often, these are thematic performances dedicated to the 1990s. Even the last single of the group was dedicated to this period, during which they were most popular.

Conclusion

The group has released 6 albums. At the same time, the last of them was published in 2006, despite the fact that its creation ended in 1998. The group's number of singles has exceeded 30, but in the last decade, "fans" have only been able to enjoy three new songs.
