Childhood and youth of Mikhail Sosunov
The artist was born in early January 1997 on the territory of Brest (Belarus). Mikhail Sosunov (real name of the artist) was lucky enough to be brought up in an intelligent and creative family. The Sosun family appreciated and respected music very much. The head of the family is a composer, and his mother, a graduate of a music college, instilled in him a love for the sound of the classics (and not only).
It so happened that already in childhood, Mikhail decided on his future profession. He dreamed of becoming a singer. Sosunov Jr. to "holes" rubbed the compositions of recognized classics in the face Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Etta James.

He loved performing in front of an audience. In 2008, he appeared at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Then he failed to take the lead. The young man pleased the jury and the audience with the performance of the composition “Classmate”.
The guy took a serious step after he got on the stage of the Ukrainian musical project "X-Factor". He arrived in Lviv, and on the main stage of the city he performed a track by Beyoncé. Despite the chic performance of the composition, the jury refused the young man.
Then he took part in the project "Icon of the Stage". As a result, THE EM was formed. It is not difficult to guess that Mikhail became a member of the group. Turn Around is the most famous hit in the duo's repertoire. In addition to the bright presentation of musical material, the guys were distinguished by a shocking style. In 2016, the team took part in the national selection for Eurovision. The boys took 7th place.
Misha is the perfect proof that a talented person is talented in everything. At this stage of life, he switches, and takes a direction towards humor. He became a member of the Chaika team (a club of cheerful and resourceful). With this team, he appeared in the League of Laughter.

At this stage of life, the creative pseudonym Michael Soul appeared. Under this name, he managed to release a number of bright singles, and a mini-record Inside. In 2019, he again visited the national selection "Eurovision" (Belarus). He decided to “bribe” judges and spectators with the musical piece Humanize. Mikhail was the clear favorite of the public. He was predicted to win.
Michael spoke first. For some unknown reason, the judges were against the artist. They even put pressure on the singer, saying that he has a strong competitor in the face of the singer Zena. They subtly hinted that Mikhail did not belong here. The artist took into account the criticism, and said that he would never again take part in the national selection from the country in which he was born.
After that he left for London. Abroad, the young man continued to develop himself as a vocalist. Everything would be fine, but the coronavirus pandemic interfered with the artist’s plans. Sosunov was forced to return to his homeland.

The final of the national selection "Eurovision" was held in the format of a television concert on February 12, 2022. The judges' chairs were filled Tina Karol, Jamala and film director Yaroslav Lodygin.
Michael was second. His sensual composition touched the very heart, but it was not enough to take first place. The artist chose a charming outfit in blue tones for his performance. Sosunov, in his usual image, appeared with a make-up on his face, which surprised Ukrainian viewers a little.
Alas, according to the voting results, he scored only 2 points from the jury, and 1 from the audience. This result was not enough to go to Eurovision.
