Vladana Vucinic is a Montenegrin singer and lyricist. In 2022, she was honored to represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Childhood and youth of Vladana Vucinic
The artist's date of birth is July 18, 1985. She was born in Titograd (SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia). She was lucky to be raised in a family that was connected with creativity. This fact left its mark on her choice of profession.
The girl showed interest in music very early. Vladana's grandfather, Boris Nizamovski, was the head of the Artists' Association of North Macedonia. He also held the position of manager of the ensemble Magnifico.
Vladana understood how important it was to get a specialized education. She has a primary and secondary musical education. Vucinic studied music theory and operatic singing. In addition, she studied at the Faculty of Journalism at one of the universities in her country.

At the beginning of March 2005, the artist became a participant in the Montevizija 2005 contest. Vladana presented an incredibly sensual composition Samo moj nikad njen to the jury and the audience. According to the voting results, she took 18th place.
Then she appeared at the Montevizija 2006 competition. Together with Bojana Nenezic, Vucinic pleased the “fans” with the performance of the track Željna. According to the voting results, Vučinić and Nenezić made it to the Europesma-Europjesma 2006, but in the final they took only 15th place. In the same 2006, Vladana presented the composition Kapije od zlata at one of the music festivals.

In 2006, a cool video premiered for the song Kao miris kokosa. It should be noted that the director of the work was Vladana's fellow countryman, Nikola Vukcevic. A couple of years later, the track Bad Girls Need Love Too was released. By the way, this is the first composition recorded in English. A year later, an animated video was released for the song Sinner City.
In mid-December 2010, the artist opened her discography with her debut LP. The record Sinner City received high marks from music experts.
