Oksimiron is often compared to the American rapper Eminem. No, it's not about the similarity of their songs. It's just that both performers went through a thorny road before rap fans from various continents of our planet found out about them. Oksimiron (Oxxxymiron) is an erudite who revived Russian rap.
The rapper really has a “sharp” tongue and he definitely won’t get into his pocket for a word. To be convinced of this statement, it is enough just to watch one of the battles with the participation of Oksimiron.
For the first time, the Russian rapper became known in 2008. But, most interestingly, Oksimiron has not yet lost its popularity.
Fans of his work parse tracks for quotes, musicians create covers for his songs, and for beginners, Oxy is none other than the “father” of domestic rap.
Oksimiron: childhood and youth
Of course, Oksimiron is the creative pseudonym of the Russian rap star, behind which the quite modest name of Miron Yanovich Fedorov is hiding.
The young man was born in 1985 in the city of Neva.
The future rapper grew up in an ordinary intelligent family.
Oksimiron's father worked in the scientific field, and his mother was a librarian at a local school.
Initially, Miron studied at Moscow School No. 185, but then, when he was 9 years old, the Fedorov family moved to the historic city of Essen (Germany).
The parents decided to leave their native country, as they were offered a prestigious position in Germany.
Miron recalls that Germany did not meet him very rosy. Miron entered the elite gymnasium Maria Wechtler.

Miron admits that studying at Oxford was very difficult for him.
In 2006, the young man was diagnosed with bipolar personality disorder. It was this diagnosis that caused Oksimiron to be temporarily suspended from studying at the university.
But, nevertheless, in 2008, the future rap star received a diploma of higher education.
The creative path of rapper Oksimiron
Oksimiron began to get involved in music at a young age. Love with music happened back in the days when Oxy lived in Germany.
Then he experienced severe mental shocks. A young guy begins to write songs under the creative pseudonym Mif.
The first musical compositions of the rapper were written in German. Then, the rapper began to read in Russian.
During this period of his life, Oksimiron thought that he would become the first person to rap in Russian, staying in another country.

Oksimiron's illusions quickly dissipated. In order for everything to fall into place in his head, it was enough to visit his native country.
It was then that Oxy realized that the niche of Russian rap had long been occupied, having found records of the Baltic clan and Ch-Rap, the repertoire of which he perceived as primitive counting rhymes.
In the 2000s, when Miron moved to the UK, he has access to the Internet. Thanks to him, the young man was able to appreciate the scale of Russian rap.
Around the same time period, the young rapper uploads his debut work to a hip-hop music portal.
Later, Oksimiron came to the conclusion that individuality is felt in his works, but the songs are far from perfect. Oxy continues to make music.
However, now he does not upload musical compositions for public viewing.
The thorny path to success as an artist
After graduating from a higher educational institution, Miron did everything he did: he worked as a cashier-translator, office clerk, builder, tutor, etc.
Miron claims that there was a period when he worked seven days a week for 15 hours a day. But not a single position brought Oxy either money or pleasure.
Oksimiron in his interviews said that he had to, like Raskolnikov. He lived in the basement, and later moved into an unfurnished apartment rented out by a Palestinian fraudster.
In the same period of time, Oxy meets rapper Shock.
Young musicians met in Green Park with a local Russian party. The influence of the Russian party prompted Oksimiron to record musical compositions again.
