The head of the family worked on a cruise ship. After he changed his profession to a factory worker, where his son helped him. At the same time, the boy dreamed not of physical work, but of creativity. From this came his desire to learn how to play musical instruments.

Amazingly, Yoochun was watching professional musicians play. He repeated their movements on the piano. And in the end, he managed to master the musical instrument on his own.

It was very difficult for him in Korea, away from his family. This country was a stranger to the guy. It seemed that he was left completely alone and no one needed him. Yoochun behaved very quietly, shunned new acquaintances, companies, he was constantly silent.

Over time, the people around him began to treat the boy with suspicion. Because of this behavior, they literally tried to bypass him. But he quickly realized what was going on and decided to play the role of Mickey Yoochun. The singer himself spoke about this later in an interview. Now he behaved openly and positively, lovingly joking and talking.
