La Chica Dorada appeared, under a lucky star, on June 17, 1971 in the city of contrasts Mexico City, in the family of lawyer Enrique Rubio and Susana Dosamantes.
They grew up with their younger brother. Mom was a film actress in demand on the screens, so she took her daughter with her to the shooting.
She spent her entire childhood in the light of bright spotlights, so it is not surprising where her craving for praise, approval of her uniqueness and realization of ambitions always came from.
From the age of 5 she was engaged in vocals and dancing, worked hard to achieve heights in the future.
Today we know about her as a Mexican vocalist, budding Latin pop, model, actress and just a career woman.
Significant turns of events
Affection for music manifested itself at the age of 9, when she entered the Televisa center on her first attempt. Years of training brought the first fruits, and already in 1982 Paulina made her debut as part of the Timbiriche group.
The next ten years mark the release of 10 collections. "Timbires 7" is in the top twenty of the best and most bought Spanish discs.

Even during rehearsals, the girl was seething with the need for unfulfilled ambitions. She always dreamed of becoming a soloist and climbing to the top.
She skillfully managed to combine classes in jazz, singing and vocals in Los Angeles. There was no time or desire for entertainment.
originality
In the summer of 1988, she had the opportunity to play a negative character in the TV series Pasión y Poder (Passion and Power).
It was a wonderful experience. Having coped with the tasks set, she and the rest of the Timbirisch members were invited to take part in the Vaselina.
But realizing that it was time to move on, already in 1991 she left acting and went on a solo voyage. Having moved with the essentials to a sunny country, she begins to work on a trial album "La Chica Dorada".
The preparation takes place under the strict guidance of the producer and songwriter Miguel Blasco, who supports the subordinate for a long time.
Collaboration with him was an important step in the development of a career, because many projects had already been developed under his wing.
In parallel with the golden “24 Kilates”, “Mío” (Mine), “Amor de Mujer” (Women’s Love) and “Sabor a Miel” (Taste of Honey) found a universal response.
Just a few film appearances and fifteen singles later, the diva became a welcome guest and special guest star at the Festival Viña del Mar en Chile. She was also given a place among the jury members.

Returning to the territory of her second homeland, she continues to collaborate with Miguel. Later, she gets her original role in the film "Pobre niña rica" (Poor Rich Girl).
In the mid-90s, the public enthusiastically receives “El Tiempo es Oro” (Time is Gold), and “Te daria mi vida” can be heard from every corner and open-air venue.
After a short break, she releases "Planeta Paulina". The latter features unusual motifs. Now a new, already experienced performer enters the game.
Due to the fact that the girl never rested on her laurels and was not afraid of experiments, even the sphere of activity of the TV presenter was subject to her.
She hosted the show "Vive el Verano" for over a year. But the spotlights weren't going to let her go that easily.
Clean chapter
In 2000, she signed an agreement with Universal Music Group, and the most important creative stage began in her life.
Thanks to this contract, she receives the long-awaited worldwide recognition.
It has reached the level where famous composers Estefano, Armando Manzanero, Juan Gabriel and Christian de Walden offer their services on their own..
The diamond album "Paulina" goes beyond Southern Europe. Listeners from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy glorify and revere her like a Deity.
The singer is also studying English and recording versions of popular songs. "Don't Say Goodbye" conquers the music charts with unthinkable turns.
"Border Girl" in 2002 is recognized as gold in Canada, France, Japan, Austria.
Multi-platinum "Ananda" is distributed in the USA, Colombia, Chile, Cuba.
As her career developed (from 1992 to 2008), Paulina managed to sell over twenty million copies of songs.

Summer studio "Gran City Pop" beats all previous records and exceeds all expectations. In seven days of release, almost half a million copies were sold out.
The single for which the music video was released, "Ni rosas ni juguetes" ("No roses, no toys") was a resounding success. There was not a single person who would never hear this track.
In 2011, painstaking work on Brava! is resumed. She also manages to take the judge's chair in the show "The X-Factor".
2018 is turning out to be a pivotal year for fans, as the long-awaited, revamped Brava! sounds everywhere.

Family circumstances
In 2007, she married chief PR manager Nicholas Vallejo-Naher.
In 2010, she finds out that she is pregnant.
Three years later, the couple separated. In the same year, she met the singer Gerardo Basua. He remains the "civil husband" of the pop queen to the current moment.
They are raising a child from their first marriage and a common son, who was born in 2016.
Not just songs generous
In addition to concert shows, she actively participates in miniature shows of fashion designers. She was lucky enough to create her own MAC brand lipstick shade, as well as a personal perfume.
She can even conduct business negotiations. She owns a restaurant in Miami Beach, which also brings her considerable income.
Her two-year-old son Eros and traveling around the area, which she loves since her youth, bring an outlet and sources of inspiration.
She also collaborates with the JustFab brand. Having learned all the charms of motherhood, she came up with the idea to alleviate the fate of other women by releasing a line of comfortable clothes and useful accessories.
In her opinion, even in beautiful pumps you can walk on the street without stress.

Her masterpieces (comfortable shoes, roomy backpacks) masterfully combine two main criteria - comfort and chic appearance.
