The history of the creation and composition of the group Escape the Fate

Rock fans might not have heard the heavy tracks of Escape the Fate, if not for the one who stood at the origins of its discovery. The idea of creating a group belongs to the talented guitarist Brian Money.

In 2004, he attracted two more musicians to create the band - vocalist Ronnie Radke and bassist Max Green.

The guys wanted to create post-hardcore. They were inspired by the work of such famous artists as: Marilyn Manson, Guns N' Roses, The Used, Cannibal Corpse, Korn. The first rehearsals were at home.

A little later, Robert Ortiz (drummer) joined the musicians. Interestingly, this is the only member who remains part of the Escape the Fate group to this day. In addition, Omar Espinosa and keyboardist Carson Allen became new members.

In mid-2005, the band entered into a "musical battle" with the same young rock bands in Las Vegas (Nevada). The local radio contest was judged by the talented My Chemical Romance.

As you can already guess, the Escape the Fate team won. Participation in a music competition and the subsequent victory not only motivated the musicians for further work, but also made it possible to conclude a lucrative contract with the Epitaph label.

Creative way and music of the group

The group presented the first mini-collection in 2006. The album was called There's No Sympathy for the Dead. In the same year, a full-length album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion was presented. On the cover was the charming Mandy Murdors, Radke's ex-girlfriend.

The full album consisted of 11 tracks. This is not to say that There's No Sympathy for the Dead is a hit in the hearts of rock fans. But the album peaked at number 12 on the Top Heatseekers chart and number 19 on the Top Independent Albums.

The first success and popularity only quarreled with the soloists of the group. For personal reasons, Escape the Fate left Allen. Espinos followed him.

In the spring of 2006, Radke became a participant in a criminal story in which an 18-year-old boy died for a mysterious reason. The court decided to deprive Radke of liberty for 5 years probation.

Two years later, Radke did not come to check in with the curator. Memory gaps deprived the musician of freedom for 2 years. The members of the group decided to fire Radke from the team, because they did not want to associate the honest name of the group with crime.

The last time Radke was heard was on the album Situations, which was released in 2007.

Radke was replaced by a new member, Craig Mabbitt. Initially, the lead singers of Escape the Fate considered Craig as a temporary member.

But the young man joined the team so harmoniously that the guys decided to leave Craig. Mabbitt's honeyed voice graced the band's discography from their second album, This WarIs Ours.

This WarIs Ours is a direct hit on the target. Fans "rubbed" the tracks of this record to holes. Video clips for the songs Something, 10 Miles Wide and This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II) were broadcast for days on MTV channels. The album peaked at number 35 on the Billboard 200.

The disc was released with a circulation of 13 thousand copies. The group was very popular. The musicians went on a world tour for the first time.

The next compilation Escape the Fate (2010) was written by the guys on the popular Interscope label. The soloists of the group noted that the new album is a vaccine against the modern musical epidemic.

The musicians managed to achieve the perfect dark sound under the guidance of renowned producer Don Gilmour. The producer did not interfere with the lyrics, but it was he who perfected the music.

The material is divine. The musicians wanted to release a double album to celebrate, but Gilmour advised them to set aside 7 tracks for a new collection.
