The history of the creation and composition of the group "Soldering Panties"

Producer and singer Andrey Kuzmenko initially did not hide the fact that he created the “Soldering Panties” team to play a trick on Ukrainian show business. He said that the modern Ukrainian stage is filled with "low-grade" singers, behind whose appearance there are no vocal abilities.

“Soon we will present to the public a new Ukrainian project “Soldering Panties”, and this is not translated. The group will include only girls, and they will joke about the Ukrainian show business…, commented Andriy Kuzmenko.

In 2008, Kuzmenko prepared the first hit for his future wards - the track “Soldering Panties”. Initially, Andrey planned to perform the composition on his own. But then he decided that the track would sound brighter in the performance of the group members.

In March 2008, a casting was announced for a girl group, the name of which did not appear in the announcement. Producers for candidates for the place of soloists put forward the following requirements:

  • third breast size;
  • height from 160 to 170 cm;
  • choreographic skills;
  • Singing skills are not required.

Thus, the new group included: Irina Skrinnik, Anastasia Bauer, Nadezhda Benderskaya and Alena Slyusarenko. Interestingly, Olga Lizgunova and Victoria Kovalchuk were enrolled in the group even before the casting. The fact is that Vika was a friend of Vladimir Bebeshko, and Olga was the backing vocalist of Andrei Kuzmenko.

She recorded only vocal parts for the band's songs. Olga did not appear at the first performances of the group. The producers decided to make the girl a full-fledged member after the group began performing with live sound.

Presentation of the band's debut album Paryye panty

In the same 2008, the members of the Ukrainian group presented their debut video for the track "Singing Cowards". Almost before the New Year, a video was released for the song "Olivier Basin". After the presentation of the video clip, Nadezhda Benderskaya left the band.

A year later, the presentation of the debut album "Pops" took place. The girls shot bright video clips for the tracks "Plastic Surgeon" and "Waffles".

Participation of the Ukrainian team in the international competition "New Wave"

In 2010, the Ukrainian team took part in the prestigious New Wave competition, which took place in the capital of Russia. Then the contestants were judged by strict and experienced judges: Igor Krutoy, Igor Nikolaev, Alexander Revzin, Max Fadeev and Irina Dubtsova. The jury selected the "Soldering Panties" group for the girls to represent their country at the competition.

The producers of the group invited two vocalists to participate in the prestigious competition - Rimma Raymond and Lali Ergemlidze. Of the old line-up, only Olga Lizgunova remained in the team. The rest of the members did not leave the group. However, Andrei Kuzmenko and Bebeshko put forward demands - the rest of the three participants should not appear on stage.

In July 2010, the team performed in the final of the New Wave festival in Jurmala. Alexander Revzin was frankly disappointed with the daring name of the girls' team. The girls were even offered to change their creative name, but they refused.

The festival organizers warned the producers that they would not use the band's original name. So, live, Ksenia Sobchak emphasized the first syllable in the word "cowards".

Thus, Sobchak and the organizers of the festival "New Wave - 2010" "sounded sweet" the vulgar name of the Ukrainian group. The big surprise for the singers was that on the third day of the competition they were forbidden to perform the song “Like Alla”, which was dedicated to Alla Pugacheva.

The group received a special prize of the festival - a certificate for the creation of a music video. As well as its further broadcast on the air of the Muz-TV channel. But the biggest reward for the group was that Igor Krutoy offered the girls to sign a contract. Until the end of 2014, the team was represented in Russia by the production company ARS Records.

The group "Soldering pants" and in 2011 took part in the international competition "New Wave". The team performed in the same composition as in 2010. This is despite the fact that Lali has already left the project.

As well as the title of "Best Corporate Group", according to the M1 TV channel, and a nomination for the "Muz-TV Award - 2011". A year later, the girls were pleased with the release of the clips “Do not offer intimacy”, “Kalimera”, “Girl” and “Girls of the oligarchs”.

In 2012, the group's discography was replenished with the second studio album "Do not offer intimacy". Soon a video clip was released for the track "Cornflower".

Ukrainian travesty diva Madonna offered the team to perform for free at her concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Scorching Underpants group refused such an offer, considering it offensive.

On September 29, 2012, the video clip "Cornflower" won the "Creative of the Year" nomination of the RU.TV channel award. However, the girls failed to hold the award in their hands. The fact is that the host of the "RU.TV Prize" Nikolai Baskov was offended by the fact that the group "Soldering Cowards" won. He gave the award to the boy who presented him with flowers.

In the same 2012, the singers pleased the fans of their work with the release of a new video. They filmed a video for the track "Icicle Girls". Sergey Zverev and Sveta from Ivanovo starred in the video together with the group.

A year later, the group presented the song “NaHa!” to fans of their work. Thus, the singers wanted to celebrate the first serious anniversary - 5 years since the appearance of the group "Soldering Cowards" on the stage.

In the same year, the team applied for participation in the international Eurovision Song Contest 2014 from Russia with the composition "Mu-mu". However, an authoritative jury rejected the group's application.
