The musical project of Andrey Kuzmenko "Scriabin" was founded in 1989. by chance Andrey Kuzmenko became the founder of Ukrainian pop-rock.
His career in the world of show business began with attending an ordinary music school, and ended with the fact that, as an adult, he collected ten thousand sites with his music.
Earlier creativity Scriabin. How it all began?
The idea of creating a musical project first came to Andrey back in 1986 in the city of Novoyavorivsk. Then the young musician managed to get acquainted with the talented Vladimir Shkonda. Young guys had the same musical preferences, knew how to play instruments, and dreamed of their own rock band.
Exactly one year later, the first works of the Skryabin musical project were available for listening to a narrow circle of listeners. “І so then already є”, “Brother”, “Lucky Now” - the first works of the young Kuzmenko, which blew up local discos.
For that period of time, Kuzmenko mostly created dance music. In addition, he performed solo and was one of the members of young Ukrainian rock bands. In 1989, under the leadership of Andriy Kuzmenko, a musical project appeared that turned the idea of Ukrainian pop-rock upside down.
The first attempts of "Scriabin" to break into the big stage
In 1992, luck smiles at the musical group. They are invited to cooperate with the production agency, which is called Rostislav show. The guys have at their disposal a high-quality recording studio, good instruments and a stable salary.
It is in the Rostislav show that the band's first album, Technofight, appears. Unfortunately, the tracks from the music album were not distributed. Some of them were included in the following albums. On the Internet, fans of the group can listen to some of the compositions, in their raw form.
These events greatly disappointed the leaders of the group, and for that period of time they decided to cease the existence of the Scriabin collective. Despite the fact that the group ceased to exist, Kuzmenko and Shura continue to make music, they perform in nightclubs in Germany and Ukraine.
Peak of group success
In 1994, Taras Gavrilyak, who once worked at the Rostislav show, offers the guys cooperation. Gavrilyak, using his knowledge and connections, helps the team move to the capital of Ukraine.
Literally in a few weeks, the group's new album, which is called "Birds", will be released. Officially "Birds" went on sale in 1995. The release of this album was decisive for the Ukrainian group. After its release, the songs began to be put on the radio, the guys were recognized and invited to various competitions and festivals.
After a resounding success in 1996, Scriabin signed a contract with the Nova production studio, where the second album, Kazki, was recorded. In addition to working on "Kazka", the guys are recording the album "Mova Rib".
At the end of the 90s, there was a peak in popularity. The clips "Train" and "Toy Prykry Svit" are broadcast by many music channels. Andrey Kuzmenko begins to interact with the then already famous singer Irina Bilyk.
The Golden Era of Scriabin
The dawn of the Ukrainian rock band falls on 1997. They continue to collaborate with the same production agency. The former musician Roy returns to the group, and they begin to conquer the heights of show business, bringing their "mood" to them.
In the same year, the team gives the first solo concert. After this performance, the group's popularity grew even more. "Skryabin" receives all kinds of awards as the best "alternative musical group".
A couple of years later, Skryabin releases one of the darkest albums, which is called Khrobak. The team planned to release a film, which consists of clips from the album, but, unfortunately, this idea remained “just plans”.
The current state of the group
For the period 2000-2013. The group has released over 5 successful albums. The group's popularity reached the point where Andrei Kuzmenko no longer needed producer support.
The last album of the Dobryak group was recorded in 2013. In 2015, the leader Andrei Kuzmenko died. He died in a car accident. After 4 months, a rock concert dedicated to the memory of the musician took place.
More than 10 people came to listen to the concert and honor Andrey's memory. After the death of Kuzmenko, it became known that he recorded some songs on a political theme. For example, "Bitch viyna", "List to presidency."
To date, the group is called "Skryabіn ta druzі". E. Tolochny became its leader. The musical group gives performances in memory of the great Andrey Kuzmenko, performing previously recorded songs.
