The childhood and youth of the artist Seryoga
The birthplace of the artist Sergei Parkhomenko (real name) is Belarus. The boy was born on October 8, 1976 in the city of Gomel. The singer prefers not to talk about his family, relatives and childhood. In no interview did he mention his parents and relationships with them. There is almost no information about Seryoga's life before popularity. And even close friends cannot or (at the request of the singer) do not want to tell journalists anything.

Entered Gomel State University. After studying for two years, he dropped out. Disappointed in the Belarusian education system, the guy left for Germany, and studied economic disciplines for 5 years. But even in this country, the young man failed to graduate from the institute. His passion for music, in particular popular rap, prevented him from getting a diploma.
The beginning of a musical career
During his stay in Germany, Seryoga was friends with some German musicians. His friend, rapper Azad, helped the aspiring singer record his first song 2 Kaiser in the studio. And later, thanks to a friend, he shot a video for it. But Sergei Parkhomenko decided to engage in his work at home.
The artist returned to develop the culture of hip-hop and rap in his country, he came up with a concise and simple pseudonym "Seryoga". But it so happened that Belarus has become not a single territory where the singer was very popular. For certain reasons, Seryoga performed in Ukraine with most of the concerts. He was also no less popular in Russia.
At the beginning of 2004, the first clips for the songs Black Boomer, Doll, etc. appeared on the Ukrainian TV channel M1. Then Seryoga presented his first album, My Yard - Weddings and Funerals, in Kiev. The collection quickly became very popular both in Ukraine and in the homeland of the singer.
In the Russian Federation, the artist re-released the same disc. But already under a different name "My yard: sports ditties." The hit "Black Boomer" was very popular. All music critics wrote about the "explosive" work of Seryoga. The track hit the tops of all music charts. It was nominated for the MTV Russian Music Awards in the Best Project and Debut of the Year categories.

A year later, Seryoga presented the second album, Discomalaria, whose invariable hit was the track Near Your House. Everyone knew this composition by heart - from schoolchildren to pensioners. There is a confirmed fact that the song "Discomalaria" sounds in the American blockbuster "Transformers". But the soundtrack, unfortunately, is not on the official list. The song and video "Chalk of Fate" were created by the musician at the request of director Timur Bekmambetov especially for the film "Day Watch".
2007 was a busy and productive year for the singer. He released the next disc "Not for Sale". But already under the pseudonym Ivanhoe, which quickly became very popular. In support of the album, the artist organized a big tour of the cities of Ukraine and Belarus. Few people know that Seryoga is the first artist who officially received permission to use a sample of the song Show Must Go On by Queen.
The artist's songs can be heard not only at concerts and in films - they are well known to fans of computer games, where his tracks "Invasion" and "Ring King" were used.
In subsequent years, the singer experienced a creative crisis. And for a while he just disappeared.
Seryoga: Return
The star returned to the musical Olympus in 2014 and immediately pleased the “fans” with a new image and songs from the new album “50 Shades of Grey”. The rapper showed the public that he is in excellent physical shape. He became more reserved and looked at the world philosophically.
In 2015, global changes again took place - Seryoga presented a new project "Polygraph SharikOFF". As the performer says about the project, this is a new facet of his creative "I". The first new works were presented to the listeners. These are funny and hooligan songs with a touch of irony "White Cocoa", "Charisma", "Only Sex", etc.
The singer showed another side of his (lyrical and spiritual) in the joint work "Roof" with the singer Bianca. Fans saw the singer from the other side. And his popularity increased rapidly again.
In 2017, a video for the song "Antifreeze" was released, which thundered on social networks. Some critics and musicians began to condemn the singer for plagiarism.
