Potap's childhood
As a child, Alexey did not think about a stage career. His parents had nothing to do with music - his father was a military man, and his mother went in for professional sports.
The child studied well, but the behavior left much to be desired, so the parents were periodically called to the director. A little later, the boy was enrolled in the swimming section, and he showed excellent results.
Discipline and order became synonymous with his life. For some time the child was a leader in one of the swimming teams.

Despite the total workload at school and sports sections, Alexey was fond of writing styles and songs. At the age of 13, the first text came out from the boy's pen, later he began to write music. Parents did not support the child's hobby, considering the hobby to be frivolous.
After graduating from secondary school, Potap went to study at the Institute of Physical Culture. Participated in "KVN" with the university team.
The father considered the received specialty weak, so the guy unlearned as an economist. So he received two diplomas of higher education, so he decided to do what he likes.
Duet Potap and Nastya
A duet called "Potap and Nastya" became known in 2006. At this time, Alexei Potapenko was a famous performer, but he decided to try something new by adding a female voice to the song.
A friend advised Nastya. Since then, it all started. The first overall composition became very popular. In 2008, the group released the album "Not a Couple", which immediately became popular.
