Ranetki: Biography of the group

For the first time about "Ranetki" it became known in 2005. The lineup was led by:

  • L. Galperin;
  • A. Petrova;
  • A. Rudneva;
  • E. Ogurtsova;
  • L. Kozlova;
  • N. Shchelkova.

The newly minted group was warmly welcomed by music lovers. At that time, "Ranetki" had no equal. For a long time, the girl-team remained almost in a single copy. The group instantly formed an army of fans around them, which mainly consisted of teenage girls.

A year later, Galperin and Petrova left the musical project. The place of the former participants was empty for a short time. Soon, Lena Tretyakova joined the line-up, who took up the bass guitar and was also responsible for backing vocals.

In 2005, the team managed to sign a fairly lucrative contract. A year later, the team's discography was replenished with a debut LP, in support of which they went on tour.

The composition of the newly minted team has not changed for three years. The group was at the peak of popularity, so the decision of Lera Kozlova to leave Ranetki was not understood by everyone.

Journalists began to spread ridiculous rumors about the possible pregnancy of Kozlova. In fact, it turned out that she left because of the refusal of relations with the producer of "Ranetok" Sergei Milnichenko. The producer did not comment on the situation. Lera, on the contrary, did not hesitate to talk about Milnichenko's perseverance and active courtship.

Lera Kozlova remained the face of Ranetki until 2008, so her fans were extremely worried about her departure. Some time later, N. Baidavletova took her place. Lera herself pumped herself for some time as a solo singer, and since 2015 she joined the Moscow group.

In 2011, A. Rudneva announced that she was leaving the team. She also chose to pursue a solo career. By that time, things were going frankly poorly for the group. In 2013, the producer disbanded the line-up.

Creative way and music of the group

In 2006, the debut LP of the Russian team premiered. The album was topped by 15 tracks.

Music lovers warmly welcomed the novelty. In the hands of the girls was the award for the release of the best album of the year.

Note that the debut longplay received the so-called platinum status.

The first portion of the popularity of "Ranetki" was given by the tracks: "Winter-winter", "She is alone" and "Angels". Video clips were filmed for the presented compositions.

The youth team was noticed by the directors. They asked to take part in writing songs for the popular tape "Kadetstvo". The songs that Ranetki recorded so impressed the directors of the tape that they asked to perform the tracks directly in several episodes of Kadetstvo.

The girls brilliantly coped with the requirements of the directors. On the wave of popularity in 2008, the premiere of the series of the same name took place, which consisted of 340 episodes. The members of the group did not need to try on "left" images. On set, they played themselves.

A year later, the premiere of the second LP took place. The collection was called "Our time has come."

The record was topped by only 13 tracks. Fans warmly enough welcomed the novelty, which cannot be said about music critics. Experts considered that the work of "Ranetok" is not developing. Despite a lukewarm critical reception, the second studio album also reached platinum status.

The following year, the third studio album was released. “I will never forget” the singers presented during a solo tour in the Russian Federation. Critics accused "Ranetok" of the simplicity of the texts. The experts again hinted that the girls would do well to improve their musical knowledge.

Decline in the group's popularity

In 2011, the premiere of the disc "Return rock and roll !!!" took place. The singers made an attempt to give some tracks a modern sound, but it turned out poorly for them.

A year later, a reissue of "Return Ranetok !!!" was released. In addition to the previously known 13 tracks, the disc includes a couple of new pieces of music. Vibrant video clips were filmed for several songs.

In 2013, Ranetki said that they were preparing a new album for fans. "Fans" did not wait for the release, as the producer disbanded the lineup.
