Roxana inherited musical talent from her mother, who was a creative person - she studied music (chamber-opera singer), played several instruments, wrote poetry and sang beautifully.

From early childhood, the girl began to be interested in music, taught with her mother the lyrics, romances and arias from famous operas. Very often the whole courtyard listened to the "concerts" of the young artist, when she climbed onto the windowsill, opened the window and began to loudly perform her favorite works. So the girl has long been accustomed to loud applause and the attention of the audience.

To develop her daughter's talent, her mother enrolled her in a music school and often taught her piano lessons at home. But the character of the girl was quick-tempered, she was a real fidget. Therefore, she did not like music notation classes and tried in every possible way to avoid them, simply running away from the lessons.

Soon, the future artist had to be taken away from the music school, despite all her creative inclinations.

The young years of the artist

Despite the fact that she did not receive education at a music school, Roxana did not stop developing in this direction on her own and with the help of her mother.

But, as often happens in Eastern families, the father always had the last word. And he, of course, believed that the career of a musician was an absolutely frivolous occupation and insisted that his daughter be educated in some practical area. He forbade the girl to enter the music school, and ordered his wife not to support the girl in her decision.

Fearing to disappoint her father, Roxana involuntarily entered the university at the Faculty of Railway Engineering after school. But the girl was not very interested in technical subjects, and she still dreamed of becoming a famous singer.

In secret from her parents, Roxana began attending an amateur art circle at the institute. Then she participated in various music competitions and, thanks to her perseverance and unsurpassed talent, she almost always won them.

Even then, the young artist realized that she should connect her fate with music. But the girl still did not leave the institute, fearing the serious wrath of her father, and successfully combined her studies with her favorite work.

Personal life of Roxana Babayan

Fans of the star are interested not only in her creative activity, but also in the backstage life. It so happened that Roxana Babayan has no children. But a woman gives her boundless love to suffering and needy children thanks to charity.

Her first husband was Konstantin Orbelyan, who brought Roxana to the stage. But the marriage did not last long. A big age difference (18 years) and constant jealousy on the part of the spouse led to constant showdowns and, as a result, to a break in relations. But the couple managed to maintain warm and friendly relations even after the dissolution of the marriage.

After an unpleasant relationship experience, Roxanne was in no hurry to look for true love, being wary of repeating the plot. The second husband, Mikhail Derzhavin, was also a man of art. They met absolutely by chance, on board the plane. At that time, Mikhail had a family, and the lovers began to meet in secret from everyone. But such secret meetings did not suit the ardent couple.

A few months later, Derzhavin divorced his official wife and offered his hand and heart to Roxana Babayan. This happened in 1988. Since then, the couple has been inseparable. In a happy marriage, they lived for 36 years. Thanks to her husband, Roxana made a career in cinema. He became for her a real support, support, friend and inspiration.

After the death of her husband, the actress could not recover for a long time. According to her, she lost faith in the future. But thanks to the incredible support of family friends, relatives and "fans", the woman decided to live and create against all odds.

She is still a crowd favorite today. Often takes part in various projects, meets with fans, acts as a guest star.
