The history of the creation and composition of the Royal Blood team
At the origins of the rock band are two members - Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher. The guys have known each other for a long time. At the time of communication, they were in the Flavor Country team. Then neither Mike nor Ben could imagine that someday they would “put together” a common musical project.
In 2011, the paths of the musicians diverged. Then Kerr began to communicate closely with Matt Swan in Brighton. Later, the guys moved to Australia and recorded their debut collection there. After a couple of years, Mike caught himself thinking that his affairs were moving in the wrong direction. He returned to the UK, met with Thatcher, and two days later the musicians performed on the same stage. Actually, the already well-known band Royal Blood was born.
Creative path and music

In 2014, the album of the same name was released. The collection was so warmly received by music lovers and music critics that both of them had no doubt that another worthy rock band appeared in the UK. As a result, the record became one of the fastest-selling debut LPs in the last three years. The musician of the Led Zeppelin group said the following about the record and the work of the guys:
“The debut LP of the duo raised and brought rock to a completely different level. The tracks of the guys sound very fresh and original. Musicians turned to the spirit of things that preceded them. It's definitely a win."
Further, the duo performed as an opening act for famous bands. So, they lit up on the same stage with the Foo Fighters along with Iggy Pop. This only increased the rating of Royal Blood.
In 2015, the duo went on a large-scale tour. The musicians were warmly welcomed by fans from all over the world. The tour ended with Jimmy Page presenting the boys with the Brit Awards. 2015 ended with participation in prestigious festivals.

In 2021, Royal Blood announced the release of their third record in April 2021. Then they presented the title track of the album - Typhoons. The guys also presented a colorful video clip for the composition.
The release of the LP Typhoons took place on April 30, 2021. The album marked a notable shift in the band's sound, fusing classic alternative and hard rock sounds with elements of dance rock and disco. Music critics warmly praised the work, calling the album "the band's best LP for 2021".
