"SerGa" is a Russian rock band, at the origins of which is Sergey Galanin. For more than 25 years, the group has been pleasing fans of heavy music with a worthy repertoire. The team's motto is "For those who have ears."
The repertoire of the SerGa group is lyrical tracks, ballads and songs in the style of hard rock with blues elements. The composition of the group has changed several times, and only Sergey Galanin remains the same member of the team. The group continues to tour. Musicians participate in festivals, release albums and new video clips.
The history of the creation and composition of the group "Earring"
The group was founded in 1994. The founder of the team, Sergei Galanin, does not like to talk about the first year of the existence of the SerGa group, since then he started with other members.
Sergei has been performing on stage since the mid-1980s. By education, he is a "Conductor of the Ensemble of Folk Instruments." Galanin lived and breathed music. He wanted to develop within the team. The first group for him was the Rare Bird ensemble, then he went under the wing of the Gulliver group.
In 1985, Galanin was a member of the Brigade C group led by Garik Sukachev. But he didn't stay there long either. Sergey liked what he was doing. The musician loved to exchange energy with fans. But secretly, like any celebrity, he dreamed of his own project.
1989 was a turning point in the life of the Brigada S group. Disagreements arose more often in the team. Garik Sukachev decided to update the composition. Galanin left the project. He created his own team, which included former colleagues from the Brigade C group. The musicians performed under the creative pseudonym "Foremen". The guys failed to conquer the demanding music lovers. The only memorable work was the song "Thistle".
The team broke up. Sergey Galanin presented himself as a solo singer. He performed and recorded compositions with session musicians. At that time, the artist was produced by Dmitry Groysman. Soon the singer's discography was replenished with a debut album. We are talking about the disc "Dog Waltz", which was released in 1993. The top tracks of the LP were: “What do we need?”, “Warm air from the roofs”, “Good night”.

The team combined in its name a reference to the name of Galanin. The group included:

The debut of the team took place in the city of Rostov-on-Don. Then the musicians of the SerGa group performed on the same stage with the bands "Chayf" и "Alice".
For more than 20 years since the beginning of the creation of the group, the composition has changed several times. Today Sergey Galanin is joined by Andrey Kifiyak, Sergey Polyakov, Sergey Levitin and Sergey Krynsky.

The debut album "Earring" opened the discography of the new band. Longplay was filled with hits that do not lose their relevance to this day. After the presentation of the record, the musicians went on the anniversary tour of the Chaif group. The musicians performed "on the heating" of the popular band. This allowed him to gain new fans.
In 1997, the musicians presented a new collection. We are talking about the disc "Road into the night." This period of time is marked by the economic crisis in the country. Of course, this "slowed down" the work of musical groups. The new album sold very poorly, which cannot be said about the compilation released in 1999. It was called "Wonderland". The title track of the new album topped the country's prestigious music charts.
Creativity in the 2000s
The early 2000s can be characterized by creative experiments. Sergey Galin presented the album “I am like everyone else” to fans of his work. On the disc were "juicy" duets with his stage colleagues - Evgeny Margulis, Andrei Makarevich, Valery Kipelov. The collection was appreciated not only by fans, but also by music critics. The composition "We are the children of the big city", owned by Mikhey, was in the album and became his last.
In 2006, the group's discography was replenished with another album, Normal Man. The song "The Cold Sea is Silent" was used as the soundtrack to the movie "The First After God". In support of the new collection, the musicians went on tour. And then they recorded a new album in a recording studio.
The SerGa group had many interesting projects. The musicians of the group were often invited to cooperate with their colleagues on the stage. The guys wrote and recorded the anthem for FC Torpedo. As well as the track "Who is next to you" for a sports show on ice. The soloists of the group took part in tributes for the Time Machine group.
In 2009, they were invited to star in the movie "1000 kilometers from my life." The premiere of Klim Shipenko's film took place in Sochi at the popular Kinotavr festival. In the same period of time (according to the results of the work done), the musicians presented the clip "Angel".
A few years later, the band's frontman celebrated his anniversary at the Crocus City Hall. The team did not leave the stage for three hours. The guys performed together with their famous friends. But musical duets were not the main gift of the evening. The group has prepared two new tracks: "Children's Heart" and "Nature, Freedom and Love". A video clip was shot for the first song.
In 2012, the musicians presented a video for the song "You left again" for fans of their work. A year later, the soloist of the SerGa group became an invited participant in the Universal Artist project. The musician managed to reach the final, but he gave way to the popular Russian singer Larisa Dolina.

- The song "What do we need?" uses the KVN team "25th" (Voronezh) as the main one.
- When the song "Thistle" was first performed at the band's concerts. It contained detailed saxophone parts, which were published by Alexey Yermolin.
- The song "We are the children of the big city" was first published in 1993, in Galanin's debut solo album "Dog Waltz". There, the track was listed as "We are the children of BG."
- Team leader Sergei Galanin graduated from MIIT, Faculty of Bridges and Tunnels. As well as the Lipetsk Regional Cultural and Educational School.
Group "SerGa" today
The band is actively touring, bringing together people of different generations at their concerts. The SerGa group is a frequent guest at the Invasion, Wings, and Maxidrom festivals. Musicians participate in charity.
Interestingly, Sergei Galanin also realizes himself as a solo singer. The celebrity says that this does not affect the work of the project.

On June 1, 2019, the SerGa group celebrated its anniversary. The group is 25 years old. In honor of this event, the musicians performed in the capital of the Russian Federation at the GlavClub Green Concert site.
In 2020, the band had to cancel a number of concerts that were planned for fans from Russian cities. Today the guys delight residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg with live concerts.
