Many people know the Russian band Tracktor Bowling, which creates tracks in the alternative metal genre. The period of the group's existence (1996-2017) will forever be remembered by fans of this genre with open-air concerts and tracks filled with honest meaning.
The birth of the Tracktor Bowling band
The group began its existence in 1996, in the capital of Russia. In order to achieve popularity and recognition, the team had to work for a long time in order to achieve a result. Now well-known performers more than 20 years ago first performed as newcomers in a nightclub. After that, the guys trained in unpopular clubs in Moscow for three years. It wasn't until 1999 that the band gained a significant following.
The name for the group came from two creative members of the group - guitarist Alexander Kondratiev and drummer Konstantin Clark. The guys joked about a new and fictional sport. Its meaning was to drive on the track with tractors, at the same time knocking down huge bottles of Baltika beer.
The first glance of the public at the new group can hardly be called desirable. For the first time, Dmitry Petrov spoke to the public. On emotions, with his appearance and facial expressions, he showed all the aggression and anger emanating from him. The audience did not like this emotionality, which led to consequences in the future.
Then the future member of the group Vitaly Kettler, now known as Vitamin, watched over this.
In the future, the Tracktor Bowling team I had to say goodbye to my emotional singer. In the future, the musicians decided to reduce the aggressiveness of their own compositions, focusing on the meaning and playing the instruments. Now the group's songs have turned into a more emotional product, which did not leave the audience indifferent.
Dmitry says that the group did not pay much attention to the meaning of the text and spiritual fullness. The first tracks were performed in the style of hardcore, moving to alternative rock.
Sergey Nikishin was appointed to the position of the author of music and lyrics, the performer was Andrey Che Guevara. Since 1997, the team has taken part in concerts in small nightclubs in Moscow.
In 1998, Lusine Gevorkyan, the lead singer of the well-known modern group Louna, joined the group. At that time, she left the Sphere of Influence group. Despite the fact that she was not famous then, her arrival in the group significantly increased her popularity.
Creativity of the group Tracktor Bowling
The debut album was created for 6 years. Thanks to the release of the album, the group gained immense popularity among Russian youth. The newcomers have risen to the big leagues of musicians, on a par with other well-known alternative rock artists. In 2004, Lyudmila Demina (former soloist of the group) decided to leave the music and left the group.
A year later, the group released a new album, which quickly won the hearts of alternative rock fans. According to modern critics, the second album can be considered the most popular. After its release, Tracktor Bowling began to be recognized everywhere. "Dash" was included in the list of the best albums of that time.
At that time, the group was fully formed, having determined the priorities in the genre, which the team adhered to for a long time. This stability can be explained by the fact that the composition has not changed in the future.
Later, a video of the song of the same name was released. This led to Tracktor Bowling appearing on many music channels. This greatly increased the recognition of the team among young people. From that moment on, the group became very recognizable.
Taking advantage of the popularity, the team went on a tour of the major cities of the Russian Federation, while simultaneously taking part in several music festivals. For all the time, the largest cities were visited. The tour lasted about a year.
After a long trip, the team started working in the recording studio on the creation of the next album. Then there were twice as many concerts.
New albums
In subsequent years, the group continued to create new albums. Every day the audience of fans expanded, turning Tracktor Bowling into a legendary line-up of musicians who created the best alternative music. The group performed not only on the territory of the former Soviet Union, but also in Europe. In 2008, three adaptations of old compositions in English were released, which were not very popular abroad.
In 2012, the creative team decided to take a break from the busy life of musicians, the group went on vacation. This decision allowed Lusine Gevorkyan and Vitaly Demidenko to completely immerse themselves in the popular group Louna.
An interesting fact is that the media has long considered the Louna project a side project, although the band members deny this information.

After a long time of working together, the team got tired of monotonous creativity. And I decided to disperse with the aim of development and an attempt to try myself in other projects. Despite the fact that the group ended its existence, it will be remembered by the "fans" as one of the best alternative musical groups of our time.
On September 1, 2017, the final joint concert took place.
Now Lusine Gevorkyan and Andrei Seleznev sometimes hold concerts of the old group, playing old songs.
Despite the fact that the group broke up, colleagues in the workshop continue to communicate, maintaining friendly relations, including old members of the team who left the group earlier.
