SOE is a promising Ukrainian singer. Olga Vasilyuk (real name of the performer) has been trying to take her “place under the sun” for about 6 years. Childhood and youth
Olga Pavlovna Vasilyuk is from Ukraine. She met her childhood and youth in the city of Zhytomyr. The singer's date of birth is September 29, 1994. She was brought up in a large family.
The girl's older sister attended a music school in piano. The presence of a musical instrument in the house of a large family contributed to the fact that Olga became interested in the sound of the piano. She has been trying to learn to play the piano since the age of three.
Olga grew up as an incredibly talented and curious child. She composes her first songs at the age of four. Vasilyuk admits that her debut works cannot be called professional. She created remakes of tracks by famous singers. In such works, a gifted girl created musical parts, backing vocals, new texts or music.
Enrolling in high school, Olga continues to be interested in music. She sang in the school choir and was also part of the poetry circle of the popular Ukrainian poet Valentin Grabovsky.
As a teenager, Olya entered a music school, choosing for herself a class of vocal and choral singing. Vasilyuk said that it was difficult for her to study at an educational institution. The fact is that most of the students of the music school were much younger than her. Olya never received a diploma in vocal and choral singing.
After some time, she had the opportunity to meet the singer-songwriter Vladimir Shinkaruk. Vladimir shared with the girl the contacts of the Ukrainian recording studio, where Vasilyuk recorded the first author's tracks.
After receiving a matriculation certificate, Olga became a student at the Zhytomyr State Technological University. For herself, she chose the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Technologies. Of course, the future profession did not "warm" her. But, Vasilyuk said that it was the only university where she could get a higher education on a budget.
As a second-year student, Olga is experiencing a strong emotional upheaval. As it turned out, her beloved father died of a heart attack. In search of a better life, Vasilyuk decides to move to the capital of Ukraine.
The creative path of the singer
Kyiv met the singer quite friendly. Vasilyuk managed to work as a composer at a local recording studio. Olga composed songs for other artists (Vesta Sennaya, Elena Love, etc.).
Having accumulated enough funds, Vasilyuk decides to fill his repertoire with author's tracks. During this period of time, the singer closely cooperates with the musician of the Gorchitza band Alexei Laptev and the video maker of the Druga Rika band Viktor Skuratovsky.
During this period of time, Olya records several musical compositions. The artist hoped for success, but, alas, the singer's hopes did not come true. From a commercial point of view, the songs were a complete failure.
Olga did not give up and continued to confidently move towards her goal. Since she did not have outside funding, she took the position of a staff writer for tracks for recording studios. She carefully set aside the money she earned in the hope that she would soon promote a solo project. In 2014, the funds accumulated by Vasilyuk “burned out” due to the liquidation of the banking institution Forum.
In 2014, Olga presented the musical composition "The Bride". Note that this is the first track that was warmly welcomed by music lovers. The presented composition topped the M20 chart on the Ukrainian music channel M1. In December of the same year, on Muz-TV, the same song took 6th place in the ranking. Recognition inspired Vasilyuk.
A couple of years later, she became a specially invited guest at the Junior Eurovision selection. In 2017, Olga appeared at the prestigious Slavianski Bazaar festival. In the same year, she received the prestigious Music Platform Award for the presentation of the best composition.
2017 was filled with a lot of events. This year she passed the qualifying round of the international Eurovision Song Contest. Alas, Olga did not reach the first semi-final, but despite this, she is proud that she had a chance to show her vocal abilities throughout the country.

To create the project "SOE" - she decided to radically change the style. Previously, Olga adored glamorous things and high-heeled shoes. Today, her wardrobe is filled with the most comfortable and laconic things in style: light shirts, voluminous hoodies, jeans and trendy sneakers.

According to the performer, this composition is about the fact that behind the constant fuss, problems and working days, people forget about the main thing - they forget about love and simple human happiness.
“Happiness is not about money, some personal achievements or trendy things. Happiness is in what surrounds you and makes you happy…”, writes Olga.
In the same 2020, another musical composition was presented. We are talking about the track "In the same constellation". The novelty managed to make a splash in the public. Most likely, Olga made the right conclusions, so we can say with confidence that SOE is a promising Ukrainian performer.
In 2021, the premiere of the track "The Sixth Sense" took place. Interestingly, after a week of rotation, the song entered the TOP 200 Shazam Ukraine. In the same 2021, she said that she was preparing another novelty for fans.
At the beginning of April 2021, Olga presented the musical composition "Doesn't Soar". Fans warmly welcomed the track, wishing SOE success in their work.
