Sofia Dakkarett Char was born April 10, 1993 in the resort town of Fort Lauderleil, on the coast of Florida, in a family of Colombian immigrants. The artistic name Carson took in honor of her grandmother Lorraine Carson.
Despite living in the United States, Sophia speaks excellent Spanish due to her Colombian roots.

“In order to prepare for filming, I studied the image and character of my character a lot, as well as the fairy tale “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. I had to see how the Evil Queen behaved and imagine some of her qualities, demeanor in my own character, ”Carson said in one of her interviews.
