This is a Russian musical project, founded by the singer, composer, director Sultan Khazhiroko. For a long time he was known only in the South of Russia, but in 1998 he became famous thanks to his song "To the Disco".
This video clip on Youtube video hosting received more than 50 million views, after which the motive went to the people. After that, he continued his activities in the field of pop music in Russia and the CIS countries until now.
The Early Years of Sultan Khazhiroko
Sultan Khazhiroko was born on October 5, 1984 in Makhachkala into a large and friendly family, where they raised three boys. He himself said that he was brought up as an honest and open person, for which he is very grateful. His childhood was happy and carefree, he was loved and protected.
The future singer at school was not a calm young man - he constantly came up with something, he liked to be in the spotlight and perform on stage. Due to his attraction to creativity, he decided to enter the Dagestan State University to become an actor. However, during his studies he changed his mind and decided to record musical compositions.
Beginning of a journey
In his hometown of Nalchik, he became the leader of the youth KBR. He had no musical education. Despite this, the ambitious guy began to write songs.
The first tracks were written in the genres of hip-hop and R&B, which is considered unusual for fans of traditional music in the Caucasus. Thus, the young singer managed to stand out and become the first in the musical Caucasian hip-hop culture of that time.
He started the project in December 2006. This is considered the official founding date of the group. He chose the pseudonym "Hurricane" because one of his brothers performed in the dance ensemble of the same name.

Sultan Hadjiroko became the main frontman of the band. He is responsible for vocals, lyrics and arrangement, complemented by his accordionist - Vladimirych and backing vocalist Leona.
First song
The first song that came out from the pen of the Sultan and from his own lips, "We are bad boys." The vocalist himself shot an amateur video clip for it, which was even shown on TV.
The song was not very popular, but the Sultan felt confident in his abilities and continued to create.
Then the Sultan and his team took part in many music competitions and festivals in Europe. So, it is known that the guys sang at the Talizman Sukcesu festivals in Poland, as well as at Viva Italia in Italy.

The group gained popularity in 2014, when a guy with Murat Tkhagalegov recorded the song "To the Disco". She quickly hit the music radio stations and TV channels throughout Russia and the CIS countries. For four years, the video clip has gained more than 85 million views in the Russian-speaking segment.
After that, the Sultan Hurricane group was noticed at the federal level. He and Murat Tkhagalegov were invited to the program "Let them talk", to the concert "Chanson TV - All Stars" and to the festival "Slavianski Bazaar". In 2015, the song was nominated by the RU.TV channel as "Creative of the Year".
Other compositions
During 2013, the team got into various collections: “Caucasian chanson”, “Do you excite me ...”, “Wounded heart”.
In 2017, the group released the song "Come in large numbers" as a soundtrack to the film of the same name, which was released in 2018. The vocalist also recorded a duet song with Natalie "I am without weapons", which has gained more than 1 million views on YouTube.
Then other rap songs were released: "The Man Who Dances", "With Our Eyes", "There Far Away", "Three Minutes".

Over the years of his career, he has released over 100 songs, most of which he wrote himself. Now he is in Moscow and actively performs at various musical events. His songs talk about the beauty of the Caucasus and its nature, he mentions the peculiarities of culture and traditions.
His songs sound life-affirming, as they have a message of peace and kindness. In addition to dance hits, there are tracks that are filled with ancient ethnic motifs.
Attempts at cinema
The Sultan managed to try himself as a director. In 2015, the film Barefoot Through the Sky was filmed under his direction in the genre of tragicomedy. It was created in a romantic style and tells about the love of a girl and a guy in the North Caucasus.
The film received a lot of both positive and negative reviews from critics.
Participation in politics
The vocalist has always tried to help young people, which led him to an active social life. In 2011, he was appointed Minister of Youth Policy of the KBR. Thanks to this, he implemented many projects, helped young people in their development.
He is considered an honored artist of South Ossetia, Adygea and the KBR, and since 2015 - a recognized singer of North Ossetia.

Sultan is married. On August 17, 2016, he married Olesya Shogenova, who was then 19 years old. The wedding was very beautiful, and photos with enthusiastic comments filled social networks. Among the invited guests were: Aidamir Mugu, Azamat Bishtov and Cherim Nakhushev.

2019 for the team began with a scandal. They shot a video clip in which they invited people with an unusual appearance, including Rita Kern, Ilya Boomber, Kirill Teryoshin.
