Tashmatov Mansur Ganievich is one of the oldest among the current performing artists in the countries of the former Soviet Union. In Uzbekistan, he was awarded the title of Honored Singer in 1986. Early work and the "start" of a professional career

The future artist was born into a musical family (Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 1954). His father was a popular performer who held the title of national in the republic. This factor influenced the fate of the singer. 

After graduating from school, Tashmatov successfully became a student at the Art Theater Institute in his native city. He majored in musical comedy and drama. The first professional experience was participation in the musical groups Sintez (76th) and Navo.

The first full-length disc of the performer "Mansur Tashmanov Sings" was released two years later. The recording was made at the Melodiya studio. In the same year, Tashmatov made his debut on the international stage: the singer participates in the famous Golden Orpheus competition, where he took third place.

In 1979, the artist was awarded by the Youth Organization of Uzbekistan for active assistance in the development of the national stage. In the same years, Mansur Ganievich worked as a member of the UZBECONCERT, the SADO ensemble.

Tashmatov Mansur: Features of musical style

Mansur Ganievich performs both his own songs and works by famous foreign performers (Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and others). He independently writes music with overlays on the lyrics (using poems by Abdulazimova and Shiryaev). 

A certain influence on the work of the performer was also made by works in the style of "jazz". In the 90s, Ganievich was actively involved in the modern version of this type of music. The work was carried out within the framework of the Raduga collective under the directorate of the Tashkent Circus on Stage. Main directions: "popular pop song" and "modern jazz".

Period of creative heyday

Recognition in the musical environment to Mansur Tashmatov came back in the late 70s. In addition to the aforementioned competition "Golden Orpheus", he participated in such festivals as "With a song through life" (1978), "Song 78", a number of international ones (in Turkey, USA, Italy, Poland and Germany, England, Switzerland). 

An important contribution to the development of the national scene can be considered the support of Mansur Ganievich to a number of young performers. Among them are Larisa Moskaleva and Sevara Nazarkhanova, Timur Imanjanov and many others. Assistance was also provided in the promotion and development of groups such as Jafardey, Sideriz, Sitora and Jazirima.

In the 80s, the artist took part in a large tour of the Raduga group (a structural unit of the musical organization in Tashkent Circus on Stage). As part of this series of events, the performer visits such friendly countries as Mongolia and Bulgaria, a number of cities on the territory of the republics of the Soviet Union.

Mansur Tashmanov has awards for participating in the "days of culture" in the republics of the Soviet Union (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan). In 2004, he performed at the singing competition "Slavianski Bazaar" together with his 12-year-old daughter.

After the clashes between Uzbeks and Tajiks that took place in 2010 (the conflict in Osh on ethnic grounds), the artist performed together with Salamat Sadikova. As part of the Kazan Music Festival "Creation of the World", the composition "No to War" was performed.

Tashmatov Mansur: Our days

Today Tashmatov (since 1999) is a member and artistic director in the Variety Symphony Orchestra named after. Batyr Zakirova. In addition, Mansur Ganievich is a member of the jury of judges at various music competitions held in the country. The artist independently writes words for songs and music, performs songs in different languages ​​​​of the world (Russian, Italian, English).
