Composition and history of the team Technology

It all started in 1990. The Technology group was created on the basis of the Bioconstructor team.

The group included: Leonid Velichkovsky (keyboards), Roman Ryabtsev (keyboards and vocals) and Andrey Kokhaev (keyboards and percussion).

Vladimir Nechitailo was also invited to the new group. Prior to joining the team, Vladimir worked as a technician in the Bioconstructor group.

In 1990, the musicians recorded cheap video clips and collected material to create a debut, presentation album, which would help to acquaint music lovers with the work of the new band.

After a year of hard and fruitful work, the soloists of the Technology group presented the album Everything You Want. Also, you can not ignore the fact that the team fell into the right hands.

A year after the creation of the group, Yuri Aizenshpis took the musicians under his wing, in fact, thanks to whom the debut disc was released.

From that moment on, the composition of the group has constantly changed. Valery Vasko came to the place of Leonid Velichkovsky, who left the concert composition of the group. In 1993, Roman Ryabtsev was seen collaborating with the Radio France Internationale label.

The musician went to France, where he released his first solo album. A little later, the keyboardist and vocalist left the band. Following him, Andrei Kokhaev also left.

Group line-up update

During the performances, Vladimir was accompanied by Maxim Velichkovsky on keyboards, Kirill Mikhailov on drums, and Viktor Burko on keyboards and backing vocals.

In the early 2000s, it became known that one of the brightest vocalists of the band, Roman Ryabtsev, was returning to the group.

Also, new musicians join the team - Roman Lyamtsev and Alexey Savostin, who were previously members of the Modul group.

Unfortunately, this composition turned out to be temporary. Three years later, Roman Lyamtsev told his fans that he intended to leave the Technology group.

Soon he moved to the Modul group and signed a profitable contract with producer Sergei Pimenov. Lyamtsev was replaced by Matvey Yudov, who collaborated with the group as a sound engineer for about a year.

In addition, in 2005 drummer Andrey Kokhaev returned to the Russian team. The group "Technology" was in this composition for 5 years. In February 2011, keyboardist and arranger Alexei Savostin and Andrey Kokhaev expressed their desire to leave the band.

In 2007, the original line-up of musicians gathered on the set of the film One Love in a Million. The film was released in April 2007. The children did not have to play any roles. The Technologiya group played themselves.

In 2017, Roman Ryabtsev at one of the press conferences said that since the beginning of 2018 he had been leaving the Technologiya team. Roman Ryabtsev decided to devote himself to a solo project.

At the time of 2018, three soloists remained in the band: Vladimir Nechitailo (vocals), Matvey Yudov (keyboards and backing vocals), and Stas Veselov (drummer).

Creative way and music of the Tekhnologiya group

The team "Technology" is compared with the British team Depeche Mode. At one time, the British group was very popular in the Soviet Union.

However, according to Velichkovsky, the similarity of the Technologiya group with the British group is due solely to the image. But the soloists of the Russian team said that they did not want to copy anyone.

When the musicians came under the wing of Aizenshpis, the band gradually began to enjoy popularity.

The musical composition "Strange Dancing" held the leading position in the "Soundtrack" music chart for more than one year. Soon the musicians found themselves without a producer.

In 1992, Aizenshpis refused to promote the team.

Also in 1992, the guys released a collection of remixes, which was called "I don't need information." After the presentation of the disc, the soloists of the Technologiya group began to release a full-fledged album.

Soon, music lovers saw the record "Sooner or Later." Interestingly, this album was the last collaboration between the members of the original line-up.

In the early 2000s, the Jam record company reissued the official records of the musicians in a new musical arrangement.

The entire year of 2004 was held by the Tekhnologiya group at concerts. Together with the touring activities, the guys prepared new materials.

A few years later, the rock band presented the song "Give Fire" with a cover version of the Alliance group. The presentation of the track took place in the capital club of Ukraine "Bingo".

At this time, a conflict broke out between the members of the team. The result of the quarrels was that neither the new album nor the video was seen by the fans.

In the same 2006, the Technologiya group presented to fans a new concert program, which was called Impossible Connections. The main feature of the concert program was a tougher and updated electronic sound.

During the concert tour, Igor Zhuravlev appeared on stage with the band, who, together with the musicians, performed the song “Give Fire”. The performance lasted a little over one hour.

In the same 2006, the rock band performed on the same stage with the legendary band Camouflage. In 2008, a presentation of a new collection took place, which was called "The Carrier of Ideas".
