Tootsie is a Russian band that was popular at the beginning of the XNUMXs. The group was formed on the basis of the musical project "Star Factory". The producer Victor Drobysh was engaged in producing and promoting the team.
Composition of the Tutsi team
Critics call the first composition of the Tootsie group "golden". It included former participants in the musical project "Star Factory". Initially, the producer thought about the formation of a quintet. However, before the presentation of the pop group, Victor fired Sofya Kuzmina (daughter of Vladimir Kuzmin). The girl constantly violated discipline, so Drobysh considered that she had no place in his team. The first team included four participants.
Irina Ortman - joined the first group. She was born on the territory of Kazakhstan. Ortman from childhood was distinguished by excellent hearing and voice. She came to the Star Factory project with decent experience and knowledge. Irina graduated from several music schools. In addition, she managed to collaborate with some Russian pop stars. At the time of enrollment in the team, she managed to record a solo album. By the way, this is the only participant who was in Tootsie from the beginning of her birth to the collapse of the team.
Another member of the group, Nastya Krainova, comes from the provincial town of Gvardeysk. Since childhood, the girl pursued one dream - to become an artist. She was engaged in dancing, and in 2007 she entered Gnesinka. She left the group in 2011. She managed to terminate the contract with the producer and go on a free voyage.
Masha Weber also grew up as a gifted child. She attended a music school, where she mastered the piano. Maria sang in the choir and taught herself to play the guitar. After receiving a matriculation certificate, the girl entered GITIS.
Weber is the first who decided to leave the "golden composition" of the pop group. The fact is that she got married and became pregnant. After the birth of her son, Maria again joined the Tootsie.
Yaroslavskaya, like the rest of the group, was also brought up in a creative environment. Her mother taught vocals. She has been performing on stage since the age of four. In 2008, she left the group, but a year later she again joined the rest of the participants.
The creative path of the team
In 2004, a presentation took place, perhaps one of the most recognizable compositions of the pop group. We are talking about the track "The Most-Most". Later it turned out that this track belongs to another singer - Vika Fresh. The Tootsie version is a bright remake. After the presentation, the composition was in the lead in almost all Russian and Ukrainian charts.
On the wave of popularity, the singers release their debut album. The LP was released in 2005. "Tootsie" expected that the record would be received as warmly as the track "The Very Best". The team members were disappointed.
The fact that the album turned out to be a failure was partly blamed on producer Viktor Drobysh. According to critics, he promoted the pop group without much interest. With his abilities and talent, he wrote only one track for his debut LP - "I love him."
Tootsie continued to record new videos and tracks, but despite their activity, the group's popularity continued to decline rapidly. In 2007, the group's discography was replenished with the second LP.
The record was called "Cappuccino". The second studio album turned out to be even more controversial for fans and critics.
Critics noticed that there were no Drobysh tracks on the disc. This situation was regarded by experts as a disregard for the group. The publishers who reviewed the second album said that the singers clearly had problems with taste.
Over time, author's tracks began to disappear from the Tootsie repertoire. The singers increasingly covered the tracks of other Russian pop artists. For some time, the pop group was still afloat, but in 2010 the singers faced the so-called creative crisis. In 2012, it became known about the breakup of the team.
The life of the members of the team after the collapse of Tootsie
The pop group did not last long in the original composition. The members of the group went on maternity leave, their places were taken by new members. In 2006, Weber was replaced by the charming Adelina Sharipova. The new participant was not at all satisfied with the working conditions at Tootsie. Constant disagreements with the producer led to the fact that after a few months she left the team. Adeline's place was not empty for long. A new member, Sabrina Gadzhikaibova, joined the line-up. When Weber returned from maternity leave, the producer did not renew the contract with Sabrina.
In 2008, Lesya Yaroslavskaya left the team. Natalya Rostova joined the team, and stayed at Tootsie even during the period when Yaroslavskaya returned from maternity leave. Soon Anastasia Krainova decided to pursue a solo career, and four members remained in the group again, including the newcomer Natasha Rostova.
In 2012, the producer announced the dissolution of the team. He had good reasons for this, in his opinion.
The Tutsi group turned out to be a real burden for Drobysh. He considered the team to be an absolutely "zero" team.
Most often on TV screens today you can see Ira Ortman. She pulls the image of a media personality. Irina shoots videos and records solo tracks. In 2014, she released her debut LP Plagiarism.
Maria Weber also continues to stay afloat. She took up a solo career. In 2017, she presented the song "He", and also lit up at the concert of the "New Star Factory".
Lesya Yaroslavtseva also did not leave the stage. She has recorded five solo LPs. Anastasia Krainova performs in the capital's clubs as a DJ. At the concerts of Krainova, the top compositions of the Tootsie repertoire still sound.
