Parents noticed that the son began to be actively interested in music. In parallel with his studies at school, Vyacheslav entered a music school, where he learned to play the button accordion.

As a teenager, Bykov Jr. taught himself to play the guitar. Vyacheslav became a member of the youth group in the "House of Creativity".

The guys sang popular songs. The band held its concerts on the territory of Novosibirsk. From that moment, in fact, the creative path of Vyacheslav Bykov began.

The creative path of the artist

At the age of 17, Vyacheslav Bykov became interested in such a musical direction as rock. He later became the vocalist and guitarist for a local rock band. In one of his interviews, the singer shared his thoughts:

“At 17, I was a big fan of rock. The Beatles, Deep Purple, "Sunday" and "Time Machine", the compositions of these groups inspired me. I still listen to the tracks of musicians from time to time.

From 1988 to 1990 Vyacheslav Bykov served in the army. After the army, he worked in a restaurant and as the head of the ensemble at the NVA plant. In addition to the main employment, he managed to realize himself as a singer.

Bykov has accumulated enough material to release his debut album. In 1997, a childhood friend from the same youth ensemble helped Vyacheslav record a collection at one of the recording studios in Moscow.

The musical composition "My Beloved", which was included in the first album, instantly became a hit. Thanks to this song, Vyacheslav Bykov received the Alla Borisovna Pugacheva personal award "Best Song of the Year".

In 1998, Bykov expanded his discography with the second album "I come to you when the city is sleeping." Thanks to the musical composition of the same name, Vyacheslav received an award from the Song of the Year festival. The following records are known for the compositions: “My Girl”, “Baby”, “For her the whole world”.

In 2008, Vyacheslav Bykov and performer Alexander Marshal released a joint album "Where the sun sleeps." The collection was helped to release by the Soyuz Production recording studio.

Four years later, Marshal and Bykov decided to repeat the success of their joint album by releasing the collection Until the Rising of the Night Star. The musical composition "Across the White Sky" of this disc became the laureate of the "Song of the Year" festival.

In 2013, Bykov presented the album "15 years later" to fans of his work. This collection includes Bykov's best musical compositions. In support of the collection, the singer went on a tour of the cities of Russia.

In 2008, Artyom Bykov and his friend Alexei Grishakov attacked a walking couple with knives in a park. The victim of the attack was Timofey Sidorov, who died at the scene of the crime.

On the body of Timothy, the physician counted 48 stab wounds. Yulia Podolnikova, who was walking with Timofey, miraculously survived.

Vyacheslav Bykov did not believe that his son was a murderer. He made sure that Artyom was sent for examination. Experts concluded that the killer had a mental disorder after the crime, making it impossible for him to realize the danger of his actions.
