Vyacheslav Dobrynin: Childhood and adolescence

Vyacheslav Grigorievich Dobrynin was born on January 25, 1946 in Moscow. Until the 1970s, the singer was known as Vyacheslav Galustovich Antonov. There was a chance to stay on the surname of his father - Petrosyan (he was an Armenian by nationality).

Dobrynin's parents met at the front and in the conditions of the military registry office legalized their relationship. The loving couple of Anna Antonova and Galust Petrosyan met the victory of the Soviet army over the Nazis in Königsberg. But the joyful moments did not last long - Vyacheslav's mother was sent back to the capital, where she found out that she was expecting a child.

My father continued to fight in the conflict with Japan, and then returned to Armenia. His relatives forbade him to bring into the family a bride not of his faith. Thus, the future singer was born in a family without a father. His mother gave him her last name. Dobrynin never got to meet his father. Only after his death in 1980, the artist once went to the cemetery, where he was buried.

The mother was fully responsible for the upbringing of the child. She loved music very much, so she tried to instill in her son a love for it. First, she sent the boy to a music school in the accordion class. Later, Vyacheslav independently learned to play the guitar and other musical instruments.

In the elite Moscow school, where Dobrynin was lucky enough to study, there was a basketball club. There the young man was also actively engaged and soon became the captain of the team. The desire to win, good physical inclinations and perseverance helped Vyacheslav not only in sports, but also in life. Living without a father, he often had to rely only on himself and his strength, to help and support his mother.

In adolescence, he began to seriously get involved in dudes. And he imitated them in everything - he wore similar clothes, copied the style of behavior, manners, etc. At the age of 14, when he first heard the songs of The Beatles, he forever became their real fan. For myself, I decided to connect my life with music.

The beginning of a creative career

Already at the age of 17, Dobrynin created his own musical group called Orpheus. The guys performed in popular restaurants and cafes, gathering even more interested audience. So the guy gained his first fame and recognition.

After graduation, the future artist entered Moscow State University and began to study art history. Studying was easy for the guy, so he became a graduate student. But the young man did not forget about creativity for a minute and, in parallel with the university, went to lectures at the music school. Here he successfully completed two directions at once - folk-instrumental and conductor.

1970 became a landmark in the life of Dobrynin. Oleg Lundstrem invited him to his ensemble, where the musician worked as a guitarist. After some time, the artist changed his last name and performed under the creative name of Dobrynin. After that, he was no longer confused with the singer Yu. Antonov. Thanks to acquaintances in the world of music and show business, the young singer managed to get acquainted with Alla Pugacheva herself and other popular pop artists.

The talent of the young nugget made it possible to cooperate with the stars of the first magnitude. Dobrynin's songs instantly became popular hits. His songs are in the albums of Sofia Rotaru, Iosif Kobzon, Lev Leshchenko, Laima Vaikule and others.

Since 1986, the composer has also performed as a solo singer. This happened thanks to fortune. Mikhail Boyarsky was supposed to perform a song at one of the concerts, the author of which was Dobrynin, but due to coincidence he was late. The author was offered to sing on stage, and it turned out to be a real success. Thus began the creative activity of Dobrynin as a solo artist.

After the first performances on television, the singer immediately gained fame and popularity. Dobrynin began to be bombarded with fan letters, waiting for the artist even at the gates of the house. Not a single concert was complete without his performance. And fellow singers stood in line to the star for lyrics and music for them.

Excellent hits "Don't Rub Salt on My Wound" and "Blue Mist" were played on TV channels. The circulation of the last two albums exceeded 7 million copies. Joint work with Masha Rasputina attracted considerable attention to the singer.

More than 1000 songs came out from Dobrynin's pen during his creative work, he released 37 albums (solo and copyright). In 1996, he was awarded the title of People's Artist for his significant contribution to the development of Russian music.

A very bright stage in the work of Vyacheslav Dobrynin is his work in cinema. The debut was the film "The Black Prince", then there were: "American Grandpa", the thriller "Double", the detective series "Kulagin and Partners". In addition, the composer wrote tracks for films, for example: "Primorsky Boulevard", "Lyuba, Children and Plant", the sitcom "Happy Together", etc.

Personal life of Vyacheslav Dobrynin

Dobrynin was married twice. The first marriage with art historian Irina lasted 15 years. The couple has a daughter, Katya, who lives with her mother in the United States.

In 1985, the singer got married again. And the wife, who works as an architect, is also called Irina. The couple retained their feelings and still lives together. Dobrynin has no common children with his second wife. In 2016, at an anniversary concert in his honor, Dobrynin performed a duet with his granddaughter Sofia. Since 2017, the artist has ceased his creative activity and devotes all his time to his family, appearing on air only as an honored guest.
