In the spring of 2015, Zayn announced to his "fans" that he was leaving the group. The fact is that he had long dreamed of a solo career. And the point is not only that the singer did not want to share fame and popularity with anyone.
“I've always wanted to express myself in R&B. But our producers only saw us in pop rock,” commented Zayn.
Zayn had connections. The young singer began to collaborate with a major studio RCA Records. And already in 2016 he released a solo album Mind of Mine.
