The beginning of the creative activity of the Akado group

The history of the Akado group began in the early 2000s. Four friends from the small village of Sovetsky, located near the city of Vyborg, not far from St. Petersburg, decided to create a musical group.

The new group was called "Blockade". Like-minded classmates: Nikita Shatenev, Igor Likarenko, Alexander Grechushkin and Grigory Arkhipov (Shein, Lackryx, Green).

The very next year, the guys prepared their first album, Quiet Genealogical Expression, which included 13 songs. The album's circulation consisted of only 500 discs, which were quickly sold out.

Then the Blockade group was noticed and began to be invited to clubs and to some concerts with a trip to Finland.

Group moving

In early 2003, Shatenev, Likarenko and Arkhipov moved to the cultural capital of Russia and changed the name of the group.

The first option, as it turned out, was invented by accident and it had no semantic load, but Shatenev did not want to completely abandon it. Therefore, it was decided to shorten the word to the consonant Akado.

Shatenev has always been interested in Eastern culture, therefore, with the help of a person who knows the language well, he found a translation of this word that is appropriate in meaning - the red path or the bloody path.

Nikita Shatenev then studied at the 1st year of university, where he met Anatoly Rubtsov (STiNGeR). The new acquaintance was a very sociable and erudite person, a good specialist in the field of electronic music.

Later, the musicians decided to invite Anatoly to the team as a director. After some time, Shatenev's classmate Nikolai Zagoruiko (Chaotic) joined Akado.

He became the team's second vocalist, which created the effect of growl (overloaded vocals).

Shatenev believed that the direction of the work of their team can be considered visual rock, in which the musicians' costumes play an important role. He invented his costume himself and sewed it to order, but his teammates did not support him at first.

Shein and STiNGeR created the band's official website www.akado-site.com. Shatenev's costume was a significant success, and the rest of the team decided to create similar ones.

Shatenev came up with images for them. At the same time, a new recorded composition Akado Ostnofobia appeared on the Internet.

The musicians did not have the opportunity to record under normal conditions, they had to use simple home equipment.

Nevertheless, the song quickly became popular on the Internet, and the group was identified as the most schizophrenic domestic team.

The popularity of the Akado group

In 2006, Anatoly Rubtsov joined the musicians as an electronic member of the group. Before that, as a director, he performed only administrative duties and recorded some fragments of music.

The Akado team gave several concerts and performed for the first time in the capital in one of the clubs. Around the same time, the recording of the new Kuroi Aida album began at one of the well-known studios in St. Petersburg.

In the course of work, Nikolai Zagoruiko decided to leave musical creativity, go home to Novosibirsk and do something else.

The album Kuroi Aida included the song of the same name, compositions by Gilles De La Tourette, "Bo (l) ha" and several remixes, the most interesting of which was Oxymoron.

The album was not released on disk, it was simply released on the Internet, where it was downloaded from the team's website about 30 thousand times. The composition Kuroi Aida was used in the TV series "Daddy's Daughters".

After such success, the musicians decided to move to the capital. Nikita Shatenev decided to perform only as a vocalist, so a new person was accepted into the group - Alexander Lagutin (Vinter). Part of the vocals was taken over by STiNGeR.

Further successful work of the team is associated with the emergence of a new director - Anna Shafranskaya. With her help, the Akado group gave several concerts in Moscow, recorded a video, toured some CIS countries and filmed for music magazines.

But popularity did not save the group from disintegration. Due to tensions, Lackryx, Green and Vinter left the team. Shatenev and Rubtsov were left alone.

For about half a year, the Akado group practically did not exist. Then an agreement was signed with new producers and a new line-up was recruited.
