The childhood and youth of the singer Alena Grebenyuk
The star was born on July 31, 1975 in sunny Azerbaijan, in the city of Baku. She lived in her hometown until the age of 14. In 1989, due to the work of the parents, the family had to leave for the Ukrainian SSR. They settled in the capital, the girl went to the 7th grade, and at the same time attended vocal classes. Mom persuaded her to sing, as her daughter had the makings of a perfect ear and a strong, clear voice.
Alena studied diligently and with pleasure. As a result, she graduated from high school with honors. Vocal lessons were also easy for the girl. Already in high school, the girl decided that she wanted to connect her life with music, moreover, professional, classical. Having received a certificate in 1992, the young singer applied to the Kyiv State Conservatory named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky. At the entrance exams, her voice was immediately noted by the members of the selection committee. And Alena Grebenyuk was taken to his course by the famous Konstantin Radchenko.
Carier start
Thanks to her talent, perseverance and hard work, Alena, while still at the conservatory, in 1997 took part in a song contest. It was the 1st International Vocal Competition named after Ivan Patorzhinsky. Her operatic soprano voice won the hearts of all the jury members, and the girl was awarded XNUMXst place. The artist became the owner of the title "Golden Hope of Ukraine".
Her studies at the conservatory ended in 1999. And then the young artist won the music competition of young virtuosos of Ukraine. After this event, she was invited to solo at the Kiev Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Here she sang for more than 13 years. But the singer did not stop there and decided to develop further.
She entered graduate school and continued her studies in vocal singing. Her teacher was the famous musician Anatoly Mokrenko. For diligence in studies in 2005, the master offered his student the position of an assistant.
The pinnacle of glory
Until 2005, the name of Alena Grebenyuk was already well known among Ukrainian connoisseurs of opera singing. But the woman wanted more - not to be limited only to the Ukrainian listener and to reach the world level. To achieve her goal, she worked hard - she trained at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, took part in various song competitions, applied and sent resumes to the famous opera halls of the world, gave vocal lessons.
Her efforts were not in vain - in 2005 the artist released the first disc Le Forze del Destino. He was recognized as the best work in 2006. The album was awarded the Grand Prix at the Eurovideo competition in Albania. The first concerts abroad began, popularity, success and thousands of fans.

In 2007, the national television channel offered Alena Grebenyuk to work as a vocal teacher in the Star Factory TV project. The singer agreed, she was often shown in the frame, and Alena had even more fans.
She became a public figure, talked a lot with famous producers, pop singers and showmen. The woman broke the stereotype that opera singers are not recognized by sight. On the street, “fans” ask her for autographs, her photos “flood” the Internet. And thousands of young people want to become friends on social networks.
In 2011, the opera star defended the honor of Ukraine at the international competition "Martisor". But the singer failed to take 1st place. Disappointed Alena returned to Kyiv. To calm down, she switched to work in the television project "Show No. 1" on the Inter TV channel. She was not only a vocal teacher, but also a team coach. The artist liked the activity, thanks to which she received national recognition.
After the end of the project, the singer was immediately invited to a new project. This time in the project "SHOWMASTGOWON" she took the chair of the jury.
Despite active television work, Alena Grebenyuk does not forget about the career of an opera singer. Until 2012, the singer actively collaborated with the Simferopol Chamber Theater, gave concerts and continued to develop.

Throughout her adult life, the singer struggled with being overweight. And when the STB channel announced the recruitment of participants for the TV show “Star and Happy” (14th edition), the woman decided and applied for participation. At that time, her weight was more than 110 kg. According to the artist, she did this not only to improve her health and change her appearance, but also to become an example for her daughter.
At the age of 10, the girl was already overweight. Alena Grebenyuk's coach was the famous bachelor Irakli Makatsaria, who lovingly called her a ballerina. The star did not win the project. But she managed to lose more than 20 kg and win the love of millions of viewers. She was loved by many for her positive outlook on the world, sincerity, incredible diligence and willpower.

After breaking up with her daughter's father and following several unsuccessful relationships, the artist prefers not to advertise her life outside the stage. At the moment she lives in the capital with her daughter and mother. Three generations of women get along well in one apartment and feel very happy.
