Mom worked at a children's toy factory, and her father was a senior mechanic at a car depot. In addition to his parents, his grandmother was involved in raising Kobyakov. It was she who instilled in Arkady a love of music.

The artist has repeatedly said that his grandmother taught him to look at life philosophically: "We will not get out of here alive, so just enjoy life."

The fact that Arkady had excellent vocal abilities was first noticed by a kindergarten teacher. It was she who strongly recommended that parents send their son to a school with a musical bias.

The idea of entering a specialized school was supported by his grandmother. It was she who identified her grandson in the Nizhny Novgorod Choir for Boys in the piano class.

One might get the impression that Arkady grew up as a "good boy", but this is not at all the case. Kobyakov easily succumbed to the influence of the streets and local authorities, for which they even wanted to give him a criminal term.

Arkady spent more than 3,5 years in the Ardatovskaya educational and labor colony for minors. But even after this event, life did not stop giving the young man unpleasant surprises.

Shortly before leaving the places of detention, Kobyakov's father died in very strange events.

The death of his father was a shock for the young man. Before that, he had not experienced the loss of loved ones. The fact that my mother demanded moral support helped me not to give up and not fall into depression.

During his stay in the Ardatovskaya educational labor colony, Arkady first began to write songs.

The brightest composition of that time was the song "Hello, Mom." The young man wrote this song a few days after the death of his father.

"Hello Mom" is a composition that shows all the author's heartache. It was for the piercing and sincerity of Arkady Kobyakov that his fans fell in love.

After serving his sentence, Arkady decided to do what his soul lay for. He decided to get a musical education. Kobyakov successfully entered the Academic State Philharmonic. Mstislav Rostropovich.

Despite the obvious talent, Arkady could not graduate from an educational institution. The prison past made itself felt. Kobyakov was treated with a bit of prejudice. In addition, Arcadia could not leave a criminal past.
