Childhood and youth of Artyom Loik

Artyom was born on October 17, 1989 in the city of Poltava. Loic's first serious hobby was football. The young man dreamed of getting into the Vorskla football team.

In his teenage years, Loic was attracted to music, and in particular rap, like a magnet. In high school, the teenager wrote poetry and music on exciting topics.

There were no responses to his work from his peers, so for a while Artyom put rap into a “black box”. Having received a certificate, he became a student at the Poltava National Technical University named after Y. Kondratyuk.

In his second year, Tyoma became part of the KVN student team. The game so interested the guy that he did not miss a single rehearsal.

Over time, Loic became the captain of his own Bolt team. Half of the band's skits consisted of reading rap interludes. The audience watched Artyom's team with enthusiasm.

Then, by the way, for the first time he thought about whether he should take up music at a professional level.

Artyom was an active student. From the moment of entering a higher educational institution, he annually took part in the Student of the Year competition. At first, he received the title of "Student of the Faculty", and then "Student of the University". The young man successfully graduated from the university and was an excellent student with his teachers.

The creative path and music of Loic

In 2010, Loic decided to try his luck in the X-factor music competition, which was broadcast by the Ukrainian TV channel STB.

The rapper's performance was evaluated by producer Igor Kondratyuk, singer Yolka, rapper Seryoga and music critic Sergei Sosedov.

Artyom's performance was beyond praise. He passed the qualifying round and entered the top 50 performers of Ukraine.

However, Seryoga removed the young man from further participation in the project, who advised him to improve his vocal skills.

In 2011, Loic again appeared on television, but already in the show "Ukraine Got Talent-3". Anyone could take part in the project.

The essence of the show is to surprise the jury with your skills. The project leaders were Oksana Marchenko and Dmitry Tankovich. The jury consisted of three people: producer Igor Kondratyuk, TV presenter Slava Frolova, choreographer Vlad Yama.

This time, fate turned out to be more favorable to Artyom. The young man not only impressed the judges with his performance, but also took 2nd place in the project, losing 1st place to magician-illustrator Vitaly Luzkar from Kyiv.

Loik at the time of 2011 was a recognizable person on the territory of Ukraine. On the wave of popularity, the young man released his debut album "My View", which was released under the True Promo Group label.

The first collection included tracks that Artyom performed directly on the show "Ukraine Got Talent-3", as well as new rap compositions written in Crimea.

Beatmaker Yuri Kamenev, who is known to the public under the pseudonym Jurazz, helped the Ukrainian rapper work on his debut disc.

The collection includes a significant number of satirical songs on politics in Ukraine and neighboring countries. The song "Star Country" was especially popular with music lovers. In 2012, Loic filmed a music video for the track.

In 2013, it became known that Artyom signed a contract with the production center of Grigory Leps. Loic left Kyiv and moved to Moscow for a while.

Together with Grigory Leps, Artyom recorded duets of the songs “Brother Nicotine” and “Tribe”. Loik performed these compositions at the annual music festival "New Wave" in Jurmala.

In 2013, Loic's videography was supplemented with the video "Captivity". Artyom's mentor, Grigory Leps, took part in the filming of the video clip. By the end of 2013, the rapper announced his decision to terminate the contract with the Leps label. The performer returned to his homeland.

In Ukraine, the performer started recording new songs, with the participation of Yuri Kamenev. Artyom Loik presented the second album "Give me back to me." In addition, the rapper shot a video clip for the track "Good".

The top tracks of the second album were the tracks: “Blindfold my eyes”, “Beginning”, “If I fall”, “Take everything”, “Salty childhood”. The new collection is dark.

The songs contained echoes of the difficult political situation that took place on the territory of Ukraine in 2013-2014.

In early 2014, the rapper first took part in the popular Russian battle VERSUS, which took place on the territory of St. Petersburg.

Artyom's rival was the famous rapper Khokhol. Loic won. The second performance of Artyom Loik took place only in 2016. Artyom's rival was the Russian rapper Galat.

Personal life of Artyom Loik

In 2013, Artyom met a girl named Alexandra. At the time of meeting, Sasha entered the Poltava NTU. It is known that the girl was professionally engaged in dancing and repeatedly became the winner in regional competitions.

According to Loic, he immediately realized that Alexander should be taken as his wife. In 2014, he proposed to the girl. In the summer, a modest wedding took place.

A year later, Sasha gave Artyom a son, who was named Daniel. At the moment, the Loic family lives in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv.

In 2017, the Ukrainian version of the Versus Rap Sox Battle project was launched. In the first season, rap fans could enjoy the "verbal fight" between Artyom Loik and Giga. Artyom beat the opponent with a score of 3: 2.

In April of the same year, another battle took place. This time Loic's rival was rapper YarmaK. During the battle, Yarmak became ill, and he fainted right on the stage. Doctors stated that the singer had hypoglycemia.

In 2017, Loic's discography was replenished with the album Pied Piper. Part 1". The collection was followed by the disc Pied Piper. Part 2".

The albums of the same name are written based on the poem of the same name by Marina Tsvetaeva. Many called Artyom Loik "the brightest and kindest rapper in Ukraine."

In 2019, Artyom released an album with the concise title "Thank you". The main image of the disc is fire, Artyom asks the Wind to inflate it. In the track "Candle" he rethinks the themes of "burning" (Makarevich spoke about this in the song "Bonfire").

In the same 2019, Loik presented the album “Under the cover” to fans. The disc includes 15 songs recorded in Ukrainian. The top compositions of the collection were the compositions: “Burn”, “Cups”, “On a New Day”, “E”.

The only thing Artyom Loik lacks in 2020 is video clips. The rapper constantly replenishes his discography, but his fans lack visualization.
