Barleben is a Ukrainian singer, musician, ATO veteran and captain of the Security Service of Ukraine (in the past). He stands up for everything Ukrainian, and also, in principle, he does not sing in Russian. Childhood and youth of Alexander Barleben
He comes from Novgorod-Volynsky (Zhytomyr region, Ukraine). According to unofficial sources, he was born in 1991. Alexander spent his childhood in his native town. Almost nothing is known about this stage of Barleben's life. In interviews that the artist gave to the media, he touches on a more conscious period of life.
When the war in Donbass began, he held the position of captain of the Security Service of Ukraine. In one of his interviews, Alexander says that he was repeatedly "broke", since he spent almost all his money on helping journalists who, for obvious reasons, could not freely cross borders.

Alexander launched a solo project a few years ago. During this time, he managed to appear on several prestigious Ukrainian musical projects. Barleben positions himself as a soul singer.
He has been professionally engaged in vocals for only 3 years. The artist gained his first portion of popularity on the X-Factor project. Then - followed by participation in the show "Voice of the Country". He took part in the 11th season of the project. At the "blind auditions" Alexander presented Lady Gaga's hit I'll Never Love Again. Alas, but then, his performance did not touch the hearts of the judges.

In 2018, the artist's debut track was released. We are talking about the composition "Sens mogo zhittya". "Soul is translated as soul. There is nothing more important than soul. Especially when it comes to a profession. Everything we touch should be done with soul, and performing songs - first of all. I really hope that the premiere of the track will take place with soul, and that very soon I will be able to give my listeners wonderful compositions ... ".
A year later, the artist presented the song “On the Glibin”. After some time, the premiere of a bright video for the work took place. “The new video work from BARLEBEN will take you to the place where the Moroccan burning sun and the wide empty spaces, the supernatural color scheme and the stormy sea inevitably make you think about the feeling,” it was stated in the description of the work. On the wave of popularity, the presentation of the incredibly sensual and lyrical release “Let It Go” took place.
In 2020, he presented the social project Stop the war to fans. He managed to draw attention to the war on the territory of Ukraine. In 2021, the singer delighted fans of his work with the release of the song Time to get over.
“Time to get over is a strong love story. A story of reflection and decision to fight or let go of your love. Love and the world also change. You need to be ready to make the most difficult decisions, the point of no return and a new stage in life. It is very important to put an end to those relationships that no longer bring happiness ... The final of the national selection "Eurovision" was held in the format of a television concert on February 12, 2022. The judges' chairs were filled Tina Karol, Jamala and film director Yaroslav Lodygin.
On the main stage, the artist performed the track Hear My Words. The performance impressed the judges. In particular, Tina Karol gave the singer a standing ovation, and there were tears in her eyes.
