Therefore, the group can be safely called the first Ukrainian supergroup. The team included Kuzya (Kuzminsky), Shulya (Emets), Andrei Patrika, Mikhail Lundin and Alexander Gamburg.

The group performed perky songs in a punk style. Surzhik's vocals with the Galician dialect were original. At the same time, the lyrics abounded in Russian and Polish words.

The beginning of the creative path of the group

For the first time, the Gadyukin Brothers group was talked about after the legendary Syrok-89 festival held in Moscow. Unusual style, original language and boundless irony caused real applause in the hall where the concert was held.

Musicians treated their work with humor. The name of the team was given in honor of the famous spies who "sold the schemes of the tram tracks of the city of Taganrog to the West."

After the first success at the rock festival in 1989, the team decided not to stop there and prepared the program “Our answer to Kobzon”.

Their performances were always sold out. But the guys had a special fad in their work - they decided to surpass the legislators of Ukrainian rock - the Voply Vidoplyasov group. The first years of the life of the team passed in an interesting competitive struggle with the "brothers in the shop".

The first magnetic album of the group "Vsyo chotko!" released in 1989, which was quickly sold out among fans. It is known that even Alla Borisovna Pugacheva listened to the first songs of the album.

The prima donna laughed until her headphones were taken away. The pop diva invited the team to one of her concert programs "Christmas Meetings". Unfortunately, the performance of the group was (for obvious reasons) cut out and its recording has not survived to this day.

After recording the first album, Alexander Yemets, one of its leaders and founders, left the group. "Sausage" (Melnichuk) came to the vacant position of the keyboardist. Work began on the creation of the second album, Moscow Speaks, which, unfortunately, was never recorded.

In the early 1990s, the Brothers Gadyukins actively toured Ukrainian cities and took part in the Chervona Ruta festival.

Change the style of a group

The original style of the band can be safely attributed to modern ska-punk. But gradually the musicians shifted the direction of development towards rhythm and blues, moreover, to its early traditional varieties.

But the main thing in the work of the Gadyukin Brothers group was not music, but the show that the guys created during concerts. In addition to musicians, corps de ballet actors and artists of other directions appeared on the stage.

In 1991, another founder, Alexander Hamburg, left the group. He changed his attitude to life and connected his future career with architecture.

Keyboardist Pavel Krokhmalev appeared in the group. Melnichuk picked up the bass guitar. The team recorded the album "My boys from Bandershtat". Six months later, it was released on vinyl.

After the release of the second album, the Gadyukin Brothers group was transformed into a creative association, which included three more teams. One of the actions of this association was the marathon "We will not drink Ukraine away."

After this event, news about the group did not appear for 1,5 years. Sergei Kuzminsky went to Belgium for treatment, and the team gathered in 1993 without him. Several songs were recorded.

New line-up changes took place in the summer of 1994. The full-time saxophonist of the band went into the army. One of the vocalists Yulia Donchenko and the group's guitarist Andrey Partika created a new project and left the group. The rest moved to the capital to realize their creative potential.

At the end of 1995, the musicians recorded a new album in the studio. Along the way, they rewrote their first legendary album "Vso Chotko!". We created new arrangements, and in the intervals between songs Sergey Kuzminsky inserted his DJ opuses.

In early 1997, the two main musicians of the Gadyukin Brothers created a recording studio, which recorded not only new projects of the musicians, but also other groups.

In the early 2000s, an album was released with live performances by the NA!ZHIVO band. It includes live recordings of the band from 1994-1995. There was a re-release of the band's numbered albums.

Departure of Sergei Kuzminsky

Sergei Kuzminsky stopped "playing rock and roll" and switched to electronic music. He became a goa trance DJ.

After such a transformation, Kuzya left for Moscow, where he was very popular among fans of club entertainment. He spoke negatively about the reunion of the team, but changed his mind in 2006, when the group reconvened and gave several concerts. One of them formed the basis of the Vrodilo Live disc.

In the summer of 2009, Kuzya (Kuzminsky) passed away. The cause of death was cancer of the larynx. The frontman of the legendary band Gadyukin Brothers was 46 years old. In 2011, the musicians recorded a tribute dedication to Sergei. The album was not released for sale.
