These are not empty words. The reason for the popularity of the musicians is the one hundred percent hit “They Killed a Negro”, which has not lost its relevance to this day.

The history of the creation and composition of the group Forbidden Drummers

The history of the creation of the team dates back to the release of the hit "They Killed a Negro". In the "dashing 1990s" in Rostov-on-Don, there were two groups in parallel - "Che Dans", where Ivan Trofimov and Oleg Gaponov were the soloists, as well as a drum orchestra, which existed on the basis of the city conservatory.

The latter were "sheltered" by Viktor Pivtorypavlo, who from childhood had the warmest feelings for music and creativity. When Pivtorypavlo served in the army, he had the idea of creating his own group.

The team enjoyed participating in student events and local music competitions. For a better sound at one of the capital's festivals, the soloists reinforced the composition with drummer Viktor.

But then the guys did not manage to present their number. On the way back, they had the idea to unite their offspring. So the group "Che Dans + 1.5 Pavlo" appeared.

The musical project lasted only one year. The band's tracks hit the radio station, which allowed the band to get their first fans.

The project "Che Dans + 1.5 Pavlo" gave about 10 concerts. But soon disagreements with Gaponov began in the team, after which the team ceased to exist.

The second wind appeared only in 1999. The Forbidden Drummers began to work hard on the creation of a new album.

Around the same period, the video clip "Killed a Negro" appeared. The group "Lyapis Trubetskoy" rendered great assistance in the creation of the video.

Soon the radio station "Our Radio" played the song "Killed a Negro" on the air. In a few days, the track reached the top of the music charts, and the musicians became very popular.

In the recording of the debut album, which was released in 1999, besides Viktor, there were bassist Petr Arkhipov, drummer Vitaly Ivanchenko, and percussionist Slava Onishchenko.

The top song of the first album was the song "Girl in a chintz dress".

In the creative life of Viktor Pivtorypavlo there was such an important moment as participation in the Beijing Row-Row team. The underground team included artists: a popular Russian artist, a director who won the Golden Mask award, a poet and a radical art figure.

It is interesting that director Serebrennikov shot the film Shigi-Jigs about this team. Users search the Internet for the movie "Everything will be fine." It turns out that this is the second name of the movie.

"Killed a Negro" is the hallmark of the Forbidden Drummers group. This is a hit that the guys at their concerts have to perform countless times. But the band's repertoire also has other equally popular compositions.

Interestingly, the soloists of the group were often accused of racism and political incorrectness. Viktor and Trofimov denied the accusations, saying that the track "They Killed a Negro" was recorded with humorous overtones.

After the presentation of the debut disc, which included the hit "They Killed a Negro", the guys released the album "At Night". The second studio album was again filled with witty and poignant songs. What are the songs worth: “Mama Zuzu”, “Amphibian Man”, “Pill” and “Cuba is Near”.

"Fans" were waiting for the third album. But the soloists of the Forbidden Drummers group delayed the release of the record. They had enough material to release the CD. But there was a problem - there was nowhere to record the tracks.

Despite technical difficulties, the result has surpassed itself. The songs of the third album did not have significant success on the radio, but music lovers bought up the album from the shelves.

In parallel with the release of the third album, the soloists of the group tried their hand at the TV series "Berlin-Bombay".

In 2005, the first serious split occurred within the team. Ivan Trofimov decided to leave the group. In 2008, Ivan again decided to return to the Forbidden Drummers group, but his attempt to remain in the group was unsuccessful.

In 2009, Trofimov announced that the group was ceasing creative activity. At that time, he was part of the Botanica group.

Such sad news was preceded by the disc "Don't touch us!". On the cover of the album was a front-line button accordion player. This work was dedicated to all veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
