In 2018, the duo took an honorable 77th place in the list of the best DJs on the planet, and in 2017 they were already in 62nd place, according to one of the most popular British publications DJ Magazine.

History of creation and composition of the team

Talented musicians David Schmitt and Kyle Ewen stand at the origins of the band. The boys were born in different parts of Colorado. Each of them has been involved in music since childhood. They managed to stretch the love of creativity into adulthood. After leaving school, each of them dreamed of releasing a full-length record.

Kyle was part of the Keep this in Mind collective as a teenager. After some time, he joined the Rivendale. The musicians often performed in nightclubs and just in the open air. At one of these events, Kyle Even met with future bandmate David Schmitt. The latter, during this period of time, led his own project - As the Flood Waters Rose.

The guys continued their friendship. They caught the "common wave". They were connected by music and common views on creativity. When David and Kyle realized that band membership was no longer profitable, they thought about going to college. Creativity has faded into the background. When they left musical projects, the bands simply ceased to exist without them. In 2007, the guys joined forces and created a unique sounding project - Breathe Carolina.

In 2007, the guys master the basics of the GarageBand program. The musicians record several tracks and “upload” them to the MySpace site. After uploading the tracks, they became popular. 10 million plays, thousands of comments and requests from music lovers to keep going. Breathe Carolina have taken one of the central places in the electronic genre.

Breakup of Breathe Carolina

The duo broke up in 2013. Even started a family, and therefore prioritized in such a way that his wife and child took first place. Soon a new member joined the line-up. Tommy Cooperman, before becoming part of the American team, was engaged in producing and programming. Tommy emphasized that he plans a long-term collaboration with Breathe Carolina. Also, for some time, the group included Joshua Aragon and Luis Bonet.

The creative path of the band Breathe Carolina

The duo's debut album premiered in 2007. The musicians were engaged in the promotion of the record on their own. The guys just uploaded the album to iTunes. The collection has incorporated tracks from different musical directions in specific electronic processing.

The Gossip record was a great download. This allowed the musicians to sign the first contract. A year later, the band's discography was replenished with a second full-length album. We are talking about the LP It's Classy, ​​Not Classic. Josh White took part in the recording of the album.

In support of the released record, the musicians went on The Delicious tour. At the same time, the premiere of the Diamonds video took place. The Millionaires team took part in the filming of the video. Such a move allowed the video clip to get on TV and attract the attention of even more music lovers.

2009 began with the fact that the musicians shared singles from their third studio album Hello Fascination. The duet presented the track Welcome To Savannah. After that, the musicians took part in a photo shoot. The duet's photo was on the cover of a thematic magazine. The electronic group became the headliner of a number of festivals. The musicians have released a line of clothing with the IDGAF logo

In 2010, the musicians hinted that they were preparing new items for fans. This year the band's discography has been enriched with a full-length compilation Hell Is What You Make It, as well as an EP Blackout: The Remixes.

Some time later, the Savages record premiered. The work was appreciated not only by fans, but also by music critics. The compilation reached number one on the US Billboard Dance charts.

Then the musicians concentrated on releasing remixes. In 2017, the guys presented the musical work Glue. In the same year, the duo's discography was replenished with the mini-LP Oh So Hard: Part 2.

On February 9, 2018, the Oh So Hard mini-LP was presented at Spinnin Premium. Especially "fans" highlighted the tracks Ravers, F * ck It Up and Blastoff.

Breathe Carolina at present

In 2019, the premiere of the album Deadthealbum took place. Recall that this is the fifth full-length longplay of the musicians. In support of the record, the duo organized a number of concerts.

DEADTHEREMIXES premiered in 2020. The collection was topped by 9 "juicy" dance tracks. 2021 was not left without musical novelties. This year, the duo presented the tracks "23" and Promises (with the participation of Reigns and Dropgun).
