Boombox - how did it all start?
If we return to the origins of the creation of the group, then the guys who joined the musical group did not pursue the idea of conquering millions of listeners with their tracks. Initially, Andrey Khlyvnyuk, Andrey Samoilo and Valentin Matiyuk - combined their talent and gave performances for a close circle of acquaintances.
The guys did not give performances. Mini concerts were held exclusively in the circle of acquaintances and the members of the group themselves. But, one way or another, they did not stand still. Soon Khlyvnyuk had an idea to release his own album.
Further events developed already, as in some uncomplicated film. The leader of the Ukrainian group "Tartak" - Polozhinsky receives information that Samoilo and Matiyuk, who were listed in the group "Tartak", secretly from Polozhinsky himself, are recording an album with Khlyvnyuk. Polozhinsky considered this a betrayal and asked the guys to voluntarily leave the group. Polozhinsky's request was fulfilled.
The official date of the formation of the Boombox group falls on 2004. The young people who joined the Ukrainian group came from ordinary families, but they were united by one thing - the love of music.
Early and late work of the Boombox group
Talented guys gave an opportunity to music lovers to get acquainted with their work at the festival "Seagull-2104". 12 months after that, a suitable album was released, which is called "Melomania".
It is worth recognizing that the album of the Boombox group, although it was the debut, caused a real sensation among music critics and ordinary music lovers.
Despite the fact that after the released tracks, the musical group was "approved" by music lovers, some difficulties preceded the success. The leaders of the group quickly created a record, but the managers delayed its official release.
In order for ordinary people to have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Boombox, the members of the musical group went to some trick. They began to distribute the available records to friends, relatives and acquaintances. After some time, the tracks of talented performers sounded on all radio stations in Ukraine, and even managed to reach the borders of the country.
Album Family Business
2006 was a fruitful year for the guys. This year, the second disc is released, which is called "Family Business". One of the most legendary and top songs of 2006 - "Vakhteram" was included in this album. In their native country, the guys managed to get a gold status, in Russia platinum.
Critics note that the second album of the Ukrainian group was of better quality, richer and more thoughtful. The leaders of the musical group paid great attention to the sound, beats and worked out the lyrics well.
A year later, another successful project of the Boombox group breaks into the music world, the album - Tremay. The most popular track from the album was the composition "Ta4to". She literally blew up the Russian charts, and for a long time did not leave the hit parade of favorite compositions of radio listeners.
Boombox didn't stop there. The popularity of the musical group reached Olympus. However, the guys who literally lived for music did not stop there. In 2008, they presented their third album, III, to the world. The tracks of the performers now sounded on the radio stations of the CIS countries and Ukraine.
Release of the album "Middle Vik"
After 3 years, the leader of the group Andrey Khlyvnyuk, presents a new album - "Seredniy Vik". In this album, the guys interpreted the song of the group "VIA GRA" "Get out." Certainly they succeeded. The song blew up the radio stations.
The album "Terminal B", which was released in 2013, literally described the life of the musical group. Most of the time the guys spent on tour. Train stations, airports and travel around the world have become a second home for Boombox. By the way, in this album there are some tracks from the old work of the musical group.
After the group released the album "Terminal B", the guys decided to take a break. But this is only a "veil" that the leaders of the group have thrown over the music lovers. In fact, the leaders of the team were working on creating a new record.
In 2016, the guys presented the maxi-single "People" to fans. And a year later, the disc "The Naked King" is released. In the same year, Boombox devoted its time to releasing new clips.
The Ukrainian team "Boombox" has collaborated and is collaborating with a lot of talented performers. In their piggy bank there are works with Basta, Shurov, the Time Machine group.
The music of the Ukrainian group is a mix of different directions. But what distinguishes Boombox from other groups is a genuine love for their work.

The Ukrainian group basically refused to give concerts on the territory of the Russian Federation. A couple of years ago they refused to perform in the Crimea. Scheduled concerts in some cities of Ukraine were also cancelled. The reason for this event is still unknown.
In 2018, the leaders of the musical group presented vinyl plastics of the last two albums, which were released in Italy, to fans. These songs are in the public domain.
To date, "Boombox" gives concerts, gathering thousands of fans. This group is worthy of the attention of music lovers. Despite the fact that they do not give concerts in Russia, the Russians are in awe of the creativity of a talented musical group.
In 2019, the discography of the Ukrainian band "Boombox" was replenished with two albums at once. We are talking about the collections “The Secret Code: Rubikon. Part 1 "and" Secret code: Rubicon. Part 2". The first part was released in September, and the second part was released in December of the same 2019.
The September collection was distinguished by subtle love lyrics and "Tsoevsky" social etudes. The December album does not lag behind the previous one musically, but is inferior precisely in terms of penetration and a sense of sincerity.
The musicians released video clips for some of the tracks. In addition, in honor of the release of the collections, the musicians went on tour. "Boombox" performed with the concert program "Secret Rubicon". The performances lasted until 2020. Some performances had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Boombox Group in 2021
In mid-February 2021, the Ukrainian band presented a new single to the public. The song is titled "Sorry". The foundation for the creation of the song was several poems written earlier.
The new track will definitely appeal to sensual natures. This is one of those compositions under which you want to return to your relatives, or to those who are not indifferent.
In 2021, the Ukrainian band released several singles at once, namely “It’s a pity” and “Empire to fall”. The last composition is the completion of the trilogy, which includes the clips "DSh" and "Angel". All these works are united by one story.
