The group was founded in sunny Tbilisi in 2020. At the origins of the team are: Bavonka Gevorkyan, Igor von Liechtenstein and Damocles Stavriadis. The artists said that they themselves "put together" the group.
Rumor has it that under the creative pseudonym of Igor von Liechtenstein - there is a popular rocker Nika Kocharov. At birth, he received the name Nicholas. It is also known that Kocharov is the son of a member of the Soviet Blitz group. In the "zero" he became the "father" of the Young Georgian Lolitaz group, and later - Z for Zulu (this project did not work out).
Kocharov already has experience of participating in an international song contest. In 2016, he and his team visited the main stage of Eurovision, performing the song Midnight Gold. In the end result, Young Georgian Lolitaz took 20th place.
Some sources provide information that the team was created in 2020 by three students expelled from the circus school (hence the name).

Back in 2021, it became known that the international trio Circus Mirkus will represent Georgia at Eurovision in May 2022 in Turin. The national selection among the performers was conducted by the First Channel of Georgian Television.
