Childhood and youth
Daron was born on July 18, 1975 in Hollywood to an Armenian family. At one time, my parents emigrated from Iran to the United States of America.

In one of the educational institutions, he met Shavo Odadjyan, Andranik (Andy) Khachaturyan. And also with Serj Tankian. This acquaintance grew not only into friendship, but also into the creation of one of the most recognizable bands of our time, System of a Down.
The creative path of Daron Malakian
The beginning of the musician's creative career began in the early 1990s. It was then that he met Serj Tankian. At the time of their acquaintance, the guys played in teams. They once played a jam session with bassist Dave Hakobyan and drummer Domingo Laraino. Simple "fun" resulted in the creation of a joint brainchild of Soil.
Soon the producer suggested that the musicians change their creative pseudonym to a more sonorous one. Actually, this is how a new star of System of a Down appeared in the world of heavy music.
The guys almost immediately fell in popularity and recognition. The musicians created high-quality and original tracks. Their stage image won the hearts of fans.
Despite the busy touring schedule, Daron managed to help Rick Rubin, Bad Acid Trip and The Ambulance work on their fifth studio LP.

In addition, each of them at that time had already begun to record solo works. Daron and Dolmayan announced to fans of their work the creation of an experimental project Scarson Broadway. Return of the artist
For many years he practically did not appear in public. But in 2009, the musician appeared at Shavo Odadjian's private party, which was dedicated to the celebration of Halloween.
