Future artist and band founder Josh Brown grew up in Jackson, Tennessee. Unfortunately for his parents, the teenager used drugs, starting to use heavy substances from the age of 15. 

Throughout his turbulent youth, Josh had a significant interest in classic rock. This passion resulted in the lyrics, which the guy wrote down in a notebook, starting this activity as a teenager. Two years later, Josh discovered the talent of a vocalist - a 17-year-old teenager became the head of the Full Devil Jacket musical group. 

As soon as the guy turned 22, he signed a contract with a prestigious record company. “I thought I was like Axl Rose for a short time,” laughed Brown. The Full Devil Jacket group successfully toured on the territory of major stages in different states of America. As well as simultaneously performing at large-scale festivals.

On the path to significant success, Josh Brown "stumbled" over his addictions. He was in a serious car accident after a massive overdose of heroin.

Creation of the Day of Fire band

After several years of absence, the addicted and re-imagined vocalist Josh Brown is back with new songs, for which he created a new band. This is how the history of the band Day of Fire began. It included guitarist Joe Pangallo, his brother bassist Chris Pangallo, and drummer Zach Simms. 

Vocalist Josh Brown wrote most of the lyrics, which were subsequently presented by Day of Fire on their self-titled debut album in 2004. After the release of the disc, the band got listeners and work.

The musicians left on tour, during which they recorded the next collection of songs, Cut and Move (2006). The combined circulation of the two albums amounted to almost 150 thousand copies. Thanks to this success, the band found producers in the face of the Razor and Tie label.

Tours and the popularity of Day of Fire

After the release of two very successful records, the musicians from the group started working on tour scripts. The tour, which lasted almost 6 years, lasted until 2007. It was then that the artists signed a contract with the Essential Records label, on the basis of which they began writing the third album. In addition to concerts and festivals, the Day of Fire group in 2004-2008. supported Pillar on their Days of the Reckoning Tour (with The Showdown and Decyfer Down).

In 2008, the group began work on a new record at the studio of the famous label Essential Records. In addition to the exhausting creative work on the creation and design of the third album, the band played on tour with the band Daughtry (late 2008 - early 2009). 

Day of Fire have written several collaborations with Chris Daughtry. Subsequently, the track was included in the group's third album, created by vocalist Josh Brown.

After several years of hard work, Day of Fire has officially announced the release of the long-awaited Losing All album. The work received the highest marks from the world critical community. I was also able to please a simple listener of classic rock. Each member of the group did not hold back his emotions, performing the songs included in the record.

The team conveyed their experience through music, sharing their dreams, feelings, ideas and experiences with the audience. Slow, very lyrical and mesmerizing track Airplane tells about broken hearts and lost love. The song Cold explores the horrors of drug addiction. And Landslide is an amazing dark groove, recorded in the style of Guns N' Roses and Appetite for Destructions.

He noted that all the main tracks were recorded "live". According to the vocalist, a month was allocated for writing, mixing and mastering the album. The group worked on the record near their "base" in the city of Nashville.
