The history of the creation of the team Disco Crash

The creation of the Disco Crash group began with a strong friendship between two students of the Ivanovo Power Engineering University - Alexei Ryzhov and Nikolai Timofeev. The guys were fond of music and, having a wonderful sense of humor, played in the KVN team for their educational institution. Even during their studies, they were invited to the popular clubs of the city to "twist" discos. The audience liked DJ sets of novice musicians, the guys began to be recognized on the street. But for them, such fame was only the beginning of the journey - they dreamed of the stage and big concerts. And the dream soon came true.

Once in one of the nightclubs in Ivanovo, where the guys worked as DJs, the electricity suddenly went out. A commotion began, but then a voice was heard from behind the remote control: “Calmly, because Disco Crash is with you.” Alexey Ryzhov shouted these words in the hope that the youth would not disperse. The words of the young man became known throughout the country. A week later, the guys were invited to the local radio as the hosts of the program, which they decided to call "Disco Crash".

There, the guys did not stop joking, they reviewed musical novelties. And from time to time they presented to the audience their remixes of popular songs of domestic stars. Later, they broadcast on the Europe Plus Ivanovo radio station, as well as on the Echo radio channel.

The guys began to perform at various events, give small concerts in Ivanovo and other small towns, but focused on Moscow.

In 1992, a third member appeared in the group - actor Oleg Zhukov. The musicians were actively working on new tracks, and their work did not go unnoticed. A year later they performed in the clubs of the capital.

The development of creativity and the peak of popularity

Hard work and talent paid off. And in 1997, the group presented its first album, Dance with Me, to fans. It included the famous and beloved hit "Malinka", which the musicians sang together with the ex-soloist of the "Combination" Tatyana Okhomush. The album was sold in a million copies, and the guys began to collect concert halls and became regulars in the popular metropolitan "parties". Soon another member joined the team. The group took the singer Alexei Serov.

By rehashing the famous hit by Lyapis Trubetskoy “You threw it”, the musicians became megastars on all the country's music channels. They were offered cooperation by the producers, and many singers dreamed of a joint project. At the peak of fame in 2000, the guys released the next album, "Maniacs", which was named the album of the year.

In 2002, a misfortune happened in the group. The team lost the brightest and most positive member - Oleg Zhukov. After a long struggle with a serious illness, the guy died. For some time, the group stopped all tours and stopped performing concerts. The guys did not appear in public, grieving the death of a friend and colleague. Artists resumed creative activity only a few months later.

The musician had long planned to start a solo project, and the disagreements between the guys only accelerated this process. After Timofeev left, the conflicts did not stop, because the contract forbade the musician to perform songs from the Disco Crash group, the lyrics of which belonged to Alexei Ryzhov, at solo performances.

The following year, the participants were busy with lawsuits, each defending their own interests. After ending the legal proceedings, the group continued to work actively and released a new album in 2014. This was followed by joint work with Philip Kirkorov "Bright I" (2016), the group "Bread" "Mohair" (2017).

In 2018, a new dance hit "Dreamer" was released, recorded together with Nikolai Baskov, which captivated the hearts of listeners. To support the Russian football team, the group released the track Welcome to Russia.
