The composer, who captivates not only with his acting, but also with his positive, often performs on international musical arenas. He also organizes charity concerts for children with disabilities.
Childhood and youth of Evgeny Khmara
The date of birth of the Ukrainian composer is March 10, 1988. He was born in the capital of Ukraine - Kyiv. Eugene was brought up in an ordinary working-class family. Mom realized herself as a teacher, and her father worked as a railway worker.
In his school years, the guy was fond of astronomy and aviation. The parents also made sure that the son was physically prepared, so Eugene attended the karate section. This passion brought Zhenya a cinnamon belt.
He studied at SSZSH No. 307. In addition to general education, Eugene also attended a music school. He gave the music school for 9 years. Teachers as one predicted a good musical future for him.
Since 2004 Zhenya started working in the music industry. The first place of work was the musical arrangement of a furniture salon. By the way, with the first money earned, Khmara bought a little thing that he dreamed of as a child - a telescope.
A year later, he entered a higher educational institution. Of course, the young man dreamed of getting a musical education, but it so happened that he entered the Ukrainian Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship.
The creative path of Evgeny Khmara
He began to take serious steps in music in 2010. During this period of time, the maestro began to write arrangements for the stars of Ukrainian show business. His name quickly became popular. Eugene gradually began to grow famous.
A few years later, he took part in the Ukraine Got Talent rating project. He not only managed to acquire an impressive number of fans, but also reached the final. In the same year, he accompanied the participants of the musical show "X-factor" (Ukraine).
In 2013, the discography of the musician and composer was finally replenished with a full-length LP. The disc was called "Kazka". Fans literally begged him for a Ukrainian tour, but then Eugene did not dare to go on a large-scale tour. He held concerts only in a few large cities of Ukraine.
On the wave of popularity, the premiere of the composer's second full-length album took place. We are talking about the collection "The Sign". The main highlight of the second LP was dubstep. Creating the perfect mix of symphonic music with progressive, slightly crazy dubstep was Eugene's dream, so in 2013 he realized a long-standing plan.
Reference: Dubstep is a genre that originated in the "zero" in London as one of the offshoots of garage. In terms of sound, dubstep is characterized by a tempo of about 130-150 beats per minute, a dominant low-frequency "clumpy" bass with the presence of sound distortion, as well as a sparse breakbeat in the background.
White Piano Record Premiere
In 2016, the third full-length album White Piano was released. Music critics noted that in this disc Khmara moved away from his own style. The compositions that lead this album differ in sound from previous works.
Part of the works from the disc were performed during the pianist's new spring show "Wheel of Life". In general, the album was warmly received not only by numerous fans, but also by music critics.
In 2018, he held a big solo concert, which received a very concise name "30". During the event, 200 orchestra instruments and 100 choir vocalists were involved. The concert took place in the Palace "Ukraina". A little less than 4000 spectators watched the performances of Yevgeny Khmara. Note that in the same year the premiere of the album Wheel of Life took place. Recall that this is the fourth album in the discography of the artist.
The creative biography of Eugene is not without pleasant moments, in the form of receiving awards, as well as prestigious awards. So, in 2001 he received a presidential award. In 2013, he managed to receive the Hollywood Improvisers Award, and after 4 years he received the title of Yamaha Artist. In 2017, Evgeny became the laureate of "Person of the Year".

He calls himself a happy man. In 2016, Evgeny married the charming Ukrainian singer Daria Kovtun. The couple is raising a son and daughter.
By the way, they had known Daria since they were 11 years old. They went to the same general education and music school. The guys managed to get out of the "friend zone" and create a really strong family.
“Working with a spouse is one big plus. Zhenya and I are really on the same wavelength and we perfectly understand what kind of product we want to create. But this does not mean that there are no contradictions,” Kovtun comments.

Eugene Khmara: our days
From the end of December 2019 to 2020, the musician skated a big concert tour around the cities of Ukraine. He pleased the residents of Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Kremenchug and Lvov with performances.
In 2020, his discography was replenished with 5 studio albums. The record was called Freedom to move. “It's not just a LP, it's a music therapy record. For several years I have been making chamber concerts in this format, as a result of which this work appeared. This record is fundamentally different from the works that I released earlier, ”says Evgeny Khmara about his album.
The composer was inspired to create the LP by his family. Khmara wrote one of the compositions, together with his son, naming the work in his honor - Mykolai`s Melody.
In 2021, Evgeny Khmara and his wife visited Africa. They managed to see the Victoria Falls, go on a safari to Botswana, and also write a new piece with local musicians. And the couple brought with them a new video clip. Today, Eugene helps his wife develop a singing career. Not so long ago, Kovtun took part in the Ukrainian musical project Everyone Sings. She managed to reach the final, but the victory went to the singer MUAYAD.
