Forum is a Soviet and Russian rock-pop band. At the peak of their popularity, the musicians held at least one concert a day. History of creation and composition of the group
At the origins of the team is Alexander Morozov. Prior to the creation of the group, Alexander had already formed the opinion of a promising composer and musician. He collaborated with popular Soviet groups and singers. Some of the musical works that belong to the authorship of Morozov are mistakenly attributed to folk art.
The Forum group was created in the 83rd year of the last century. During this period of time, Morozov had just graduated from an educational institution. Alexander wanted to gather a group for practice. In other words, he wanted to shake things up. Gathering musicians in his project, he did not hope that the "Forum" would achieve great success.
The group included talented vocalists Volodya Yermolin and Ira Komarova. In addition to beautiful voices, the guys played several musical instruments. Vladimir was also listed as a member of the Zarok group.
Soon the team grew by one more person - bassist Sasha Nazarov joined the line-up. In 1984, after a series of performances, only Nazarov remained in the line-up. Vladimir and Irina chose to realize themselves as solo performers. At that time, only Nazarov was listed in the group.
A. Morozov immediately saves the situation. Soon he invites Misha Menaker, Sasha Dronik and Nikolai Kablukov to his group. After some time, another musician joined the band. We are talking about Yura Stikhanov. The latter stayed in the group for a very short time. He was attracted by a heavier sound, so the choice of Stikhanov was quite understandable.
The second composition became even "tastier" after the charming Viktor Saltykov joined the group. He joined the Forum from the Manufactura team. In the 84th year, a member of the team, Nazarov, made an unexpected offer to Viktor to move to a synth-pop team, and he agreed.
Until the 87th year, the composition did not change. Only in 1986, Manaker was called to repay his debt to the Motherland. His place was taken by V. Saiko. Also a year earlier, musician K. Ardashin joined the group.
The second composition of the Forum group
The change of the second line-up overtook the team in 1987. Conflict escalated within the group. The participants could be understood - Morozov was negligent in his duties. This situation "slowed down" the affairs of the group and did not allow the artists to develop. "Forum" leaves Saltykov. The group is on the verge of collapse.
Following Saltykov, several more musicians and Alexander Nazarov leave. At this time, another popular Soviet producer and composer Tukhmanov forms the Electroclub team. Actually, part of the members of the Forum team moved into this group.
During this period of time, Sergey Rogozhin joins the group. He manages to normalize the situation. Gradually, new musicians join the line-up: S. Sharkov, S. Eremin, V. Sheremetiev.
Despite the fact that the group was replenished with new members, fans and music lovers began to lose interest in the Forum. A. Morozov soberly assessing the situation, decides to leave the promotion of the group. In the mid-90s, the band members ceased their activities in the group and pursued a solo career.
In 2011, Morozov tried to revive the brainchild. K. Ardashin, N. Kablukov, O. Savraska joined the group. A. Avdeev and P. Dmitriev are responsible for the vocals. The musicians failed to repeat the success of the group, which was achieved by the members of the second line-up, but they still try to stay afloat.
The creative path of the group
In 1984, the first appearance of the newly minted team on the big stage took place. The musicians became participants in a popular music fest in Czechoslovakia. The musicians of the "Forum" performed the song "You understand me", which was written for the group by Alexei Fadeev.
It was one of the best songs played at the festival. The performance of the musicians was warmly received by music lovers, which contributed to the start of a large-scale tour. Forum concerts were recorded. In 1984, the musicians presented a concert collection.
The peak of the group's popularity
The peak of the group's popularity came in the mid-80s of the last century. During this period of time, the musicians present their debut LP. The record was called "White Night". At first, the collection was released on reels, and a couple of years later on vinyl. Note that until that time the disc was published under different names and with different musical compositions.
After some time, the musicians shoot a video for the track "Let's phone up!". The work is broadcast on Russian TV channels. At the same time, for the film "Together with the Young", "Forum" recorded several more tracks. At that time, the team was included in the list of the most popular Soviet teams. The guys were invited to the "Musical Ring", and a year later the musical work "Leaves flew away" leads the team to the finals of "Song of the Year".
In 1987 there are some changes in the composition. In the same year, the team held a number of concerts in Denmark. At the sunset of the 80s, a presentation of a new record took place. We are talking about the LP "No one is to blame." The work is quite warmly received by fans and music critics. Despite this, in the future, the ratings of the team will begin to decline.
At the beginning of 92, the group's discography was replenished with the Black Dragon album. The collection is coolly greeted by the public. The musicians understand that the final of the Forum is approaching. A couple of years later, fans learned about the dissolution of the group.
In the "zero" years, music lovers suddenly showed interest in retro songs. Viktor Saltykov and Sergei Rogozhin decide to take the chance. On behalf of the "Forum" they perform at various concerts and retro festivals. On the 20th anniversary, the Saltykov team performs several tracks with the performer D. May.
In 2011, Morozov made the first attempt to revive the Forum. With the support of Ardashin and Kablukov, he found new vocalists and arrangers. Alexander to choose the most favorable time for the premiere of the updated team. "Forum" gathers the audience at the anniversary concert. After that, the musicians toured Russia, performing old and new compositions.
