The Power Tale group needs no introduction. At least in Kharkiv (Ukraine) the children's work is followed and supported by the efforts of representatives of the heavy scene.
The musicians write tracks based on fairy tales, "seasoning" the work with a heavy sound. The names of the LPs deserve special attention, and, of course, they intersect with Volkov's fairy tales.
Power Tale: formation, composition
It all started in 2013. During this period of time, the guys from Lugansk came to a common opinion that they wanted to compose a rock opera based on the tales of Alexander Volkov. They did not consider the option of turning to foreign literature. The musicians were warmed by memories of childhood and those fairy tales that they read in their free time from school.
But soon they had to leave their native Luhansk. The situation in the city remained not calm, so the most reasonable decision was to move. Thus, the musicians settled in Kharkov.
Not everyone was “taken out” by the move. The musicians Dmitry Ulubabov and Evgeny Bury left the team. The rest of the team, represented by Stanislav Osychnyuk, Andrey Atanov, Denis Mashchenko, started recording their debut metal opera. It would not be superfluous to say that the trio involved an unrealistic number of vocalists in their work.
The guys wanted to stand out from the rest of the bands, so they devoted maximum time to the sound of music. The process of recording a debut metal opera for musicians has become a whole mission.
In the process of recording the work, the band members realized that their budget was running out. They turned to the Planeta crowdfunding platform for help. In a short time, the musicians managed to raise 100 thousand rubles. The funds were quite enough to present a metal opera in 2016.

Creative way and music of the group
The debut work of the group is considered to be a metal opera, which was called "Ourfin Deuce and His Wooden Soldiers". Dozens of people worked on the work. She came out in 2016.
The guys took the story of Alexander Volkov as the basis for the presented opera. It should be noted that the musicians have worked hard to ensure that the main characters are revealed in a different way. Some heroes received radically new character traits.
In 2018, the group's discography was replenished with a conceptual LP. We are talking about the collection "Seven Underground Kings". In the same year, the musicians presented the track "The World on the Scales".
2019 did not remain without musical novelties. This year, the musicians delighted fans of their work with the musical piece “The Flame Goes Out”.
In the same year, the CD "Fiery God of the Marrans" was released. Note that the longplay is a continuation of the beloved metal opera "Ourfin Deuce and His Wooden Soldiers". The double compilation was topped by 19 tracks.
The musicians said that three dozen musicians helped them in recording the record. The collection was warmly received not only by fans, but also by music critics. The guys again collected funds to record the work through crowdfunding.
Power Tale: present day
In 2020, the guys told fans that their plans include releasing the metal opera on DVD. The concert activity of the group gave a positive trend in the same year.
At the beginning of May 2021, a single was released with the track "Alice is sleeping". It is not difficult to guess that they composed the composition based on the book "Alice in Wonderland".
